Hi venus seemed like a very routine story but they killed it with the characterisation. The characters were both sweet and realistic. They showed the vulnerabilities of the main leads pushing away the stereotype of unwavering behaviour. The drama is really mature in how their chemistry played out. My calorie boy is another amazing drama because of how different it is from other high school dramas. It digs deep into the male leads insecurities over his weight as he broke away from being ok with himself to being uncomfortable and then regaining his personality by finding a balance between his love for food and the will to have a healthier body. The flow of these dramas are so smooth that you wont even know quickly they ended. I like how romance was not the only focus point in either dramas as they explore different stages of relationship. In hi venus the development of the characters understanding the dynamics of their relationship while facing the hurdles and how well the leads role’s friendship stays intact over time in my calorie boy. While hi venus is a very good depiction of a typical storyline, my calorie boy stands unique to its concept and approach.
1. My boss, best rom-com in 2024 best chemistry not only main characters but also supporting characters (especially office squads).. law cases are acceptable and informative!! I actually haven’t seen hidden love and only for love because I thought they were too commercially made for my taste. Just from the trailers i got the gist of what the story is going to be. Maybe I’ll binge watch them someday. But i prefer the dramas you listed better and I’ve already seen most of them cuz the pairing and the plot layout were unique and surprising. In most commercial dramas made to create hype are usually bent on highlighting the lead actors characters rather than exploring and experimenting with them. Hidden love especially i felt like i saw this drama so many times in the past so i knew at the time these are the dramas that i will quickly watch. Thanks for this list cuz this is really well put together. These are all the dramas that really surprised and impressed me.

I also gove 10 out of 10 to romantic Drama A date with the Future for the great story about fire-fighters and their personal and professional stragles. This drama will make you cry and then laugh at the same episode. Also songs are great to listen to. Actors in the main and secondary roles are so well matched. That you thing they showing to your their life experience.
