And yes, he should know because as a talk show host that's part of his job. Try watching Graham Norton show to learn what a good talk show is.
Ru should watch it too so he can improve. One problem is that he has two guests just sharing the couch without interaction. In that case, just have one guest at the time.
Not to mention horribly insensitive questions like when he asked Ricki could she have done something about her bipolar husband?!! I don't think he meant anything by it, but it was just completely wrong thing to say/ask. And than you say he's the best and soooo informed and knowledgeable, WTAF?
I'm not hating on him, I'm just having a critical opinion which is one of the most important ways people learn and evolve. Saying everything is great and perfect when it's not is not doing anyone any favors.

This lady was my childhood and she opened so many doors and started so many conversations at a time when so many people were living in their small closed minded little worlds. I will be forever grateful to her for that. I think I remember seeing RuPaul on her show all those years ago looking fabulous. Pays to keep up relations as now it's Ru putting her back on the map. What goes around comes around. Love this show!!

I can relate to Ricki's story, for me helping children has been my therapy. I lost my sister in the same way and to the same disorder. It's a process to get better, it's something you do everyday. To anyone else in the same shoes... just know that it's never your fault. Things will feel like they can't ever get better, but eventually, they will. Do something everyday that would make them happy if they were here, for me it's laughing. We would laugh together for hours on end.

Also wanted to say this show has such positivity and I love that. There isnt many talk shows anymore that raise your vibration and touch on subjects that lift the spirit. I love how open this show is and how uplifting it is. I love how it normalizes LBGTQ, as it should be, and i love how he makes ppl feel body positive and good about themselves. He helps those to feel good about who they are. I am so excited for this show and it is so fabulous. It's not trash tv, like Jerry or "you are not the father" bs. I love Ru's agenda and if this doesn't stay on air, I'm gonna cry.

*I'm sorry, but no one can recreate the original Hairspray to be anywhere near as amazing as the original!!! I grew up watching that movie over, and over, and over! It's just one hell of an amazing classic!! I have always been the kinda person, and even as a kid, that loved creativity, and unique things.... so the whole fashion styles in that movie, and I always LOVED that a man played the part of the momma!! And since the first time I've even heard and seen drag, it caught my eye and I wanted to learn more,and see more!! It's just a beautiful thing to me!! I'm compassionate about ppl being confident and facing the world for exactly who they are! So, I adore the hell out of the LGBTQ community, as well as ppl with disabilities,like Ryan O'Connell, and anyone that stands up to the world to flaunt their flaws to prove, as Ciara stated in your other show, that they're actually "beauty marks"!!! I can't help it, I get so emotional over that shii lol!!! If anyone read this and made it this far..... please please please yall.... LOVE YOUR ENTIRE SELF!!!! Never let other ppl affect the way you feel about you!!!!.... and stop and remind yourself every time you hear ignorance from ppl.... *Anyone that is going through depression, or any mental illness that gets you in a dark head space. ....seriously, consider getting a dog! It doesn't even need to be trained, but if course there are dogs that are trained for certain illnesses that would be a benefit! Animals in general make us feel better, but dogs connect with us on a deeper level! I went through a very hard time for years, and my pup came into my life and he's a miracle to me!! I swear my pup and I are so close, I feel like I always understand him lol! Dogs love us 10 times more and it's just an amazing feeling!!!!*

Omg!!! Our family shih tzu is named Mama! And she too was a rescue. She was abused and used for breeding at a pet store that had gotten shut down for unhealthy practices.
Such smart dogs. Although she was an already an adult when we got her, she was untrained, but trained extremely easily.
