Marc Chang it is not as heavy as a wooden case. I do not know how heavy in pounds it is but I know it is one of the lighter more protective cases avalible.

You should be able to fit 2 trumpets and a small closed wrap flugel.

Could I get the triple and put a Bb trumpet in and have a pocket trumpet and a piccolo in the space for the other trumpet then leave the rest as storage? Thanks.

Blake Orr that is one of the more complex questions that I have received about cases. Off the top of my head I would say you could do that but you will need to block off the space you're going to use to put accessories. There is a lot of information missing such as are you traveling? How are you using this are you flying or are you simply storing these three instruments in the case? What is your mode of transportation? Certainly last but not least why a pocket trumpet and a piccolo a little interesting and quite different. If you would provide a little bit more information as to what you want to do with this case not just what you want to put in it but what you're going to do with it I might be able to make a recommendation. Best Jon

Rufftips Rufftips I won’t be traveling with it really, maybe a car ride here or there but nothing big. Those are simply the 3 trumpets I have with me and I thought it would be interesting to look up a case I could fit them all in. I got a pocket trumpet because I had the money and didn’t really need it so I spent it on myself cause I hadn’t bought anything in a while. Thanks!

Blake Orr well there you go that makes sense. You would be able to put them in the case they certainly will go in the case without any real issue. What you would need to do is to make sure they're blocked in or held in place properly so they don't move around. Instruments become damaged when they start moving around inside the case so a little ingenuity and you would have a case that will work just fine. Best, jon

have you done anything with the MB compact triple case??

Have only seen pictures. It is a Bona so protection should be quite good. If you are trying to fit more than they say it holds you will not have success. Bona is quite good at prescribing what the case will hold…ONLY. Best, Jon

I went for the compact triple, and have had it for a few weeks now, I love it, thanks for the video, even though it didn't have the compact tripple still very helpful and great, really recommend the compact triple, all though it is more suited to, two trumpets and mutes and goodies, or two and a pic, not really a triple, I have it for trumpet, cornet mutes and stuff, plus loads of music, back pack straps are really good too, and is small enough to not feel awkward on your back traveling or on a bike

Can you put 2 trumpets and 1 flugel in the quad?
