I’ve been training for over 23 years. I’ve tried many styles of training; DY was always go to and I made some tweaks. RP, DR. Mike, and Team full ROM have been the biggest game changer. The real difference makers for me have been achieving REAL full ROM, pausing for a second at maximum stretched position, myoreps, working on cadence, and rep ranges. My form has been on point for a while, great mind muscle connection, eccentric importance, etc. but those subtle changes have really been the difference, still extremely motivated about training this way. Thank you Dr. Mike, you’re a genius and are on the vanguard of the most effective methods to achieve hypertrophy.

I've watched basically all of these, including the older ones form like 3 or 4 years ago (and a bunch of the exercise library stuff). One thing that would be great for this format would be showing the movement with correct form first, then giving the tips in order to get to the demonstrated form. Please keep doing these technique/tips refreshes!

A great tip I saw in a CBum arm workout video is once you reach your limit on proper form skull crushers, crank out an extra 3 to 5 reps by bringing the elbows forward when you bend your arms (so the movement is a lot more like a close grip bench press) to really maximize the burn on your triceps.

I find, for me, that any grip that doesn’t feel more uncomfortable or stresses my wrists, elbows, shoulders or anywhere, I automatically change my grip to a more comfortable position. Especially if the discomfort is somewhere other than the muscle that I’m working. For example…I’m working chest and my front delts are on fire. We often say or hear “listen to your body!” Well, that includes your muscles and joints. Great video Dr Mike! Thank you!

Warm up with high rep tricep rope pushdowns. What I found best to work for me as far as form goes, is to literally put my arms behind my head and the bar will be about 4 inches behind the top of my head and I will move the bar down and back up in the same straight up and down path. Kills my triceps and I have had no tendon problems since. I’m actually laying here with sore asf tricep as wet speak 😂

Hi Dr Mike i just train Today skrull crushers
I touch between My neck and mouth
Omg what a feeling in My long Head
    I never feel that stretch
I used to touch My Head or even More... I thought i get More stretch in The Long Head
But today honestly My arms look bigger in just one sets and no pain in elbow at all
Because before skrull crushers.. i do always pushdown before
    Thanks again 🎉

No problem. Or do JM Press, but watch the official tutorial on UA-cam.

You know, these alternate form queues really helped a lot. I went from loathing scullcrushers (your elbows feeling like they're about to shear in half will do that to you) to them being one of my favourites.
See, the standard advice of "aim behind your head" is all well and good but puts huge strain on my shoulders instead, mostly due to pushing the upper limits of my shoulder mobility (used to have more of it, but I got too big at some point)
But this is on fucking point. Admittedly I only did some light skullcrushers @ 50kg for experimenting with form (started at 40kg to remind myself what the 'standard' form feels like, tried all variants shown in this video, then picked a couple I liked, went up to 50 and tried them again).
I'm looking forward to Thursday when I get to do more of them, gonna slowly work my way up to short-term target of 80kg and longer-term target of 100kg. Don't really matter to me if I ever hit 100kg skullcrushers but having a goal keeps me motivated.
    Thank you, Dr. Mike.
