listening to this brings tears to my eyes. A buddy of mine showed me this song year's ago before he passed away. I just can feel his energy in the air the moment this song plays. I miss you Dustin Rest Easy Brother.
aw, sorry to hear. I had the chance to tell Rubblebucket themselves that their music and this song was something that was there for me when I was going through some really rough shit (my best friend of 10 years and soulmate girlfriend passed away) and she never got to hear it, but yeah i did like months after she passed.
was sitting in the mercury lounge in NYC last night waiting for the Willis and Hails show to start, when someone had the wisdom to play this over the PA. after a minute or two my body started involuntarily bopping and I was compelled to quickly download the Shazam app to find out what song this was. I managed to capture the last few seconds and Shazam came through for me. as a middle aged person it's always amazing when I discover "new" music that I instantly connect with.
Whoa I can't say enough good things about this song. To me it just means how wondrous it feels to have someone come into your life and take you to a very special place when you were feeling like you had something missing in your life. Before I met you, I needed to be saved. Saved from the lifelessness, the boredom, the grind; you made me live. Such a charming song. And I'm glad that you saved me
i don't know why, but i have this ability to instantly tell apart when a song came out in 2010-2013, and i could instantly tell this song was from back then
Saw these champions in Ithaca with my daughter a few months ago. It was in my top five concert experiences. Got two albums signed, Kalmia and Alex were so nice.
In the least demeaning way possible, this song is like if your best friends from so many years ago when you were children made a song later as adults on a whim that you heard randomly years later for the first time, well after they made it, and realized instantly that it was awesome and wonderful right as you recognized them. It's just great. I could imagine hearing it and the fictional them and reconnecting and cheering uncontrollably for them.
I just discovered these guys during the pandemic. Couldn’t say I’d appreciate this ten years ago, but I’m fully here for it now. My new favorite band at almost 40 yrs old 🤩✨
Just another one of those songs my mom used to play around me. Dr dog, Rubblebucket, The Beach Boys, The Breeders, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, etc.. It feels great to relive this nastolgia even though it brings me the sadness of my childhood that I never got to live Edit: I just realized this song is almost as old as me
This was definitely a highlight of the entire Bonnaroo scene this year. About a thousand people showed up for their final show (in a tiny venue) DURING Radiohead because the word got out. This song was definitely the high point. At one point the trombone and trumpet are crowd surfing (on their backs) AND playing at the same time. Definitely memorable. This is a band to watch.
I saw this group during the Troy, Ohio stopover of the Gentlemen of The Road Tour. A very pleasent surprise. The weekend literally changed the way I lived my life.
I found this song/video three years ago. I look at the counter reading 413,312 and I think "at least 200 of those are me at this point..." Such a song. Reminds me of South Philly and then bus travels around about the north east and how I miss those times.
these guys were amazing live ive been to shows and music festivals but their performance is by far my greatest memory uncontrollable to the body maaaan
amazing at Bonnaroo! My friend and I stumbled upon them randomly as we were walking by the tent they were performing in and it was so lucky that we did!... a highlight for sure... awesome live!
I'm so happy that I found out about this band. Incredible video. What is more impressive is the musical talent and depth within this band. cya in brook in june smoochy
I couldn't agree more I stumbled up on these guys at roo this year and was drawn in. When they closed(with this song) they all paraded around the crowd with those big robot things. Then the trumpet player was crowd surfing around while still playing! incredible the highlight of Bonnaroo in my book!
I saw them on saturday at catskill chill. I was in the front and they came down and danced with us during a song i forget which one, i was rolling hard. She is awesome though.
I miss this band so much I was at a underground festival and was magnetized to the stage they were playing at for like 4-500 ppl tops. 11 years later and they got the recognition they deserve in a good way. Makes me happy. LOVE RUBBLEBUCKET4LIFE&BEYOND
One of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever witnessed. The Birth of our kind. We do not celebrate it nearly enough and we do not fight for our future generations nearly enough either.
Fiona fifi See them live. It will blow you away! Even if you hate to dance you wont be able to contain yourself. The horns alone will floor you. Combine that with the intensity that Kalmia delivers and you have a recipe for pure bliss. Awesome!
my daughter turned me onto them..she caught their show at the Paradise in Boston in May and says it was one of the best shows shes been to (she is a Berklee student so she sees alot of shows!)...this group is just FUN!!!!
I vividly remember the magic of hearing this song for the first time. Then meeting you guys, TWICE! And running into Kalmia on the street when my friend and I were already late to the show. I remember her asking what kind of tree was infront of us. What an amazing time at every show I've been to. Love when y'all come down and would dance with us to this groovy tune. Thanks for everything!
Saw them whilst candy flipping live at Bisco this year. drugs or no drugs probably my favorite set i've ever seen. the energy was amazing and everyone was getting the fuck down! i'll never forget Anna and the whole band coming into the crowd to dance with us and having the privilege to dance right next to her for like 5 seconds. This band is awesome and im stoked they're finally getting more and more recognition. favorite indie band for sure!!!
ah! The exact same thing happened to me and my friends. we walked by and heard them and I Was like we should head to that stage right away., Big fan now. Saw them Thursday in Philly! Robots and all.
I listen to this song every day and a few songs from a couple albums. Makes me such a happier person and pumps up my spirit. I'm going to try to make the Seattle show now! :D
They actually do that crowd train walk at the end when they play this show live and it ends up with a drum circle and a mini jam session. They bring the sound..
listening to this brings tears to my eyes. A buddy of mine showed me this song year's ago before he passed away. I just can feel his energy in the air the moment this song plays. I miss you Dustin Rest Easy Brother.

😭 good on you remembering him.
@@Cooky-ze2wu Glad old Dusty didn't have to go through 2020; rest easy Dustin still. From 2021 brother.
Man I keep seeing posts like this with songs , it's rad how music is truly form the soul and can connect so deeply like that.
I am sitting at a coffee shop in Seoul, South Korea right now, and this song is playing!!!! Whoaa!
Who knew they had better taste in 'Western' music than Westerners?
hazelreflection omg i SO wanna go there when i grow up as i do plan!!!😁
I also heard this song at a coffee shop in Seoul!!!!! It was first time I knew this band !
Damn, shout out to South Korea! They know what's up.
Why does my phone want me to go to seoul

Seen them perform this live, the crowd lost their shit! I was jumping at least 3ft high and rising!
I'm glad you were born

the peak of the internet indie pop age
Saw these champions in Ithaca with my daughter a few months ago. It was in my top five concert experiences. Got two albums signed, Kalmia and Alex were so nice.
Ironically this song was uploaded on the day I came out of a lady, my birthday
That isn't ironic.
same
@Cheesegod: How can that ever be ironic?
@@MCFRUGT he probably just meant that it was a surprising coincidence, I hear a lot of people use the word "ironic" to mean that too
You came out of a lady and it's amazing
Thanks Drinking buddies for bringing me here
Yeah drinking buddies
This song is song infectious.
This song is a party and a celebration of life beautifully combined together - Anyone that can't get with this song can be no close friend of mine!
Or you could say, can’t be a close friend.
This song is my happy place.
this is my go to song now when i decide to bike around downtown LA at night

I can't wait until Rubblebucket get the credit they deserve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😍
I think the time is near 😁
The movie "Lady of the Manor" brought me here and I'm so glad it did.🤗
This video could have been one of the greatest if it came out on MTV in 1982!!!
Because they actually played music videos then? ;)
Happy mother's day!
Lady of the Manor introduced me to this awesome jam.
I’ve had this song stuck in my head for the past two days.
I wonder if the TALKING HEADS were an influence on this group? Love RUBBLEBUCKET!
Hey guys, loved this song for a few years. Showed it to my 6 year old nephew and he started dancing. Hope you're all well.
this song brings me to joy EVERYTIME i listen to it *________*

Heard them while streaming the kick-ass radio station WRSI The River 93.9. Can't get it out of my head. Just like when I heard Pumped Up Kicks.
This is one of the greatest music videos ever. And you’re a great band.
This is perfect.
Seeing this in 2022 is exponentially moving, the artistic value is huge
This songs was the perfect start to my weekend at Riot Fest, and it's still stuck in my head after two days of amazing music. So infectuous!

First time I heard them was at the Snowball Festival in colorado about 2 weeks ago. Never had so much fun dancing in my life.
