My boy Shinn finally gets the treatment he deserves in this fanmade opening! Good job on this, it almost convinced me into thinking it was the real intro!
They should've treated Shinn better. . . They made him whine till the very end. He should've fought Kira again in the final battle. But worst, he got rekt by Athrun who barely took him seriously. . . Here's to hoping the Seed Destiny Movie is moving along and we get to see Shinn's redemption as main character.
Thanks man, i thought the same. Im fine with Shinn not being the hero of the war but they should keep him being the center of the main characters and keep him being more relevant to the story. He has the potentials to be the catalyst of the message "gen doesnt determine your Destiny" since he beat the ultimate coordinator with arguably the strongest MS around at that point despite bing a normal coordinator with desires to protect his loved ones, but nope. They screwed this up
Handa I totally agree. Shinn is such an interesting character, since his beliefs were different to ORB which was depicted as the “hero” in the prequel season. He brought a different point of view to the story and he could be a great protagonist if they had kept him as the main character. But sadly, they screwed it up, very unfortunate.
@@命運Specii i totally understand that Cagalli doesnt mean bad, sure Shinn has some issues about how he reapproach things but i kinda get why he was so upset of what Cagalli said. Most people hate Shinn because "he hates and blames Orb for the wrong reasons, and he wanted revenges on them" but i think thats not the point and people are focusing too much on his complains. Just look back again, sure, he says he hates Orb, but that doesnt mean that he doesnt blame EA(which obviously he does too, but most people kinda imply it that he blame Orb INSTEAD), and most importantly, he also blame himself for being powerless. So what he did? He moved to PLANT and entered military so he could gain power. What does he need the power for? Its not for any ill intentions, its because he was frustrated for being powerless, and next time if anything happens, he could protect his important ones. Shinn DOESN'T WANT to get revenge on Orb. If anything, He wants to put Orb behind. I think Shinn did a good job on his trauma, he wants to get stronger so he could protect this time for sure. What Cagalli said wasnt totally wrong, but at this point she is in no position to say all of that to Shinn. Orb didnt have enough power to protect their ideals and Shinn's family, it make sense while the ideal itself is not bad, Shinn doesnt want to believe their "pretty words" because their ideals remain as an ideal, and Shinn tried to relies on his own power instead. Its a good thing Shinn didnt joined the people that dropped Junius Seven because they hate the natural so much. If he wants to get revenge on Orb, he would be already with them. Instead, he risked his life to fight those guys. Cagalli is in no position to tells Shinn all of that. If she still need to say that, at least be prepared for any consequences that might comes. If it hurts so much for her because he said bad things to her father after he was making a hard decision and Shinn doesn't know, then she should learn to be careful on her words because she herself doesnt know anything about Shinn and the other crews. Look at the victims of Junius seven falls. Theyre powerless and cursing on coordinators. Shinn understands the pain of the terrorist that lost their family in Junius seven incident to the point they dropped that thing because Shinn himself experienced the same thing, and he still choose to protect earth. He is well aware that even after he risked his life and did his best, people won't completely forgive them and Coosrdinators still responsible for the incidents. Thats why Shinn was so angry when Cagalli easily said that people on earth will understand, despite the crews are well aware that they wont be forgiven even after saving the earth. Shinn knows the pain of they who lost their important ones, but Cagalli tried too hard to think positively, eventhough she should have known the best after losing his father. Although she still did a lot of bad decisions in later events, she cant counter argument Shinn and tried her best to become a good leader and tried to prevent what Shinn has experienced to happens ever again, and i still love her for that. The thing is, a lot of fans easily judged Shinn badly without trying to see the nuances of his character, and pesonally it kinda annoyed me. He said that he hates Orb, but his first reaction when he got back to his home countr is sadness, and even he was annoyed that Orb joined the enemy forces to destroys the minerva instead of happy for getting the chances on this so called revenge. The only moment that Shinn went for Revenge is might be when he destroyed the Freedom, but thats it. Revenge was not really his main motivation of his character trait. He wants to end the war and protect his friends. All of the moments he said that he was gonna destroy Orb is just his sense of duty and responsibility because Orb keeps prolonging the war. And even then, Shinn was in agony of the thought of destroying Orb.
@@handa9233 I can't agree more. I think Shinn is extremely relatable and he has purposes for what he did in the show. I quite like how they portrayed Shinn as a guy who had always wanted to protect the people he cherished and loved and would basically do anything for them. It really added an emotional level to his character, especially in the episode which Stella died. Once again, Shinn had failed to protect the one he loved and it was an extremely sad moment to see him gently putting Stella's body into the lake. It was at that point that his character changed, having a bigger wish for revenge and it paid off when he defeated the freedom. It was a joy to watch. Apart from that, seeing all those conflicts building up in Shinn in the latter half of the show was also a nice touch imo. We could see that he was still a bit confused at that point in the show and could still have room for development. It would be nice to see him unleashing his full power at the finale and let all those conflicts and confusion out of himself. We kinda got an alright ending for Shinn as he finally forgave ORB and removed all his hatred and anger, being who he wanted to be. However, I think the final fight could be handled better. I agree that Shinn didn't really want revenge on ORB, because he still liked the country. In that one episode which he visited the grave and saw Kira for the first time, it was depicted that Shinn loved ORB deep inside his heart. It was just heartbreaking for him. As for Cagalli, I do think she is trying to make things better. She tried to prevent the war and resolve problems in peaceful ways. This feels like the opening for a version of Gundam SEED Destiny from The Good Timeline, where Shinn and Lunamaria actually get to be cool characters instead of getting tossed aside to focus on Kira effing Yamato once again
Personally I think shin should have been the darth vader of the franchise. After Stellar's death, he should have gone through a risky and dangerous surgery that would improve not only his gundam piloting skills but also his own physical ability. Having the destiny gundam upgraded to a black demonic gundam with claws simular to Stella's Gaia Gundam, that's much more lubricate and enhanced mobility which was an enhancement to the surgery. An improved prototype that was beyond the strike freedoms potential then take away shin's charisma and hot-headedness and give him the silent yet cold aura of a veteran. He had the skills to back it up.
honestly rather than somehow turning into a villain, I would prefer if Shinn was clearly potrayed as a side who believe in his own version of what is "right" and both sides fighting each other as equally "good guys", because I think that was what GSD trying to pull, but the end product seemed fail at doing so, and Destiny Gundam is the perfect Gundam for it. sure, it has more darker color and sharper design, but it didn't lose its core and embodies wings of light, Shinn's true core despite his darker angsty looks. also, him surpassing Kira, a super coordinator the way he is (without surgery annakin skywalker star war stuffs) would emphasize the message that gen doesn't determine a person's future/destiny, and he would be Kira's living proof for his ideal, despite that very living proof is againts him (ironically). it would be a delight if even Kira, the super coordinator had to throw his everything and working together with Athrun to defeat Shinn at the end because Shinn was super strong and he couldn't beat him alone. it would humble Kira down and Shinn getting defeated in the end would have more nuances and a real tragic fate for him, not being able to protect the world he wished. but of course, whenever Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice show up, they had to clown the Destiny FFS. Kira said that he and Lacus is just a normal human, no different than anyone else. but he acts like God on the battlefield, untouchable and even completely sparing his opponent's life, and the show didn't even LET him dirtying his own hand in the end by having Rey shoot Durandal because of 2 lines preach from like... a few minutes ago. Lacus took over PLANT easily due to her role of being sygel's daughter and ambassador peace from the last war, as well as her ties with some ZAFT insider. Kira easily joined ZAFT as a white rank. I'm damn sure is more convinced of what Durandal said about genetics and role, doing the best of what suits them then whatever Kira and Lacus have to say, and I'm saying this despite me myself is againts the Destiny plan. Shinn should've surpassed anything the moment he got the Destiny on his hand, overwhelming anything until the last fight where he finally falls because his entire world is tearing down. that would've give nuances to Kira and Athrun winning, and Shinn defeated, unlike the anime where he just got beaten up like that. also, as flawed the Destiny plan was, it could be utilized more than what it was. Shinn was impulsive, but a straight honest guy. he hates those who are waging war and those who hurts people important to him, therefore he hates Kira for killing Stella(and supposedly responsible for the death of his family, some Minerva crew, and Heine's death as well), and the EA force for waging war here and there. but the "death" of Athrun and Meyrin, as well as Shinn taking down the extended piloting the Destroy in heaven's base could have them to make Shinn re-think everything again from another perspective. yes, he could protect the people important to him, but he is hurting someone else at the same time, and it doesn't necessarily end the war. you could even take DWG Shinn without Kamille helping to convince him that no matter what Kira and Athrun said, Shinn has to decide for himself, be it right or wrong in the eyes of the others. Shinn would question the idea of fighting, and ended up wanting to end it all because he was so tired of war. no getting hurt, no hurting others. he hates Kira and co., but aware that its not like they wanted to do it either, and had to do what they needed too. and it probably the same for everyone else too. hence, the idea of the Destiny plan. "who is it that actually wrong? why people have desire that lead to conflicts? whose responsibilty it is? None...its because the world works like that, and we the people born in it are dragged to it, the people wasn't exactly real bad, but the world has to be changed from its root". regardless, Shinn hates those people, including Kira, but understand that it wasn't entirely their responsibilty. thus, Shinn put his hatred behind and work hard on the Destiny plan for the sake of world with no more war. yes, he wanted to join hand even with the people he hates, even if it costs their freedom, of course with Kira rejecting the idea, but acknowledging where Shinn was coming from. of course, no one actually wants their freedom got taken, nor Shinn wishes to take them too. but he just already tired of war and wishing for peace, without anyone important to him getting killed again. if anything, Destiny plan should've made him more calmer and colder, because he put his raw anger and hatred behind for the sole purpose of his version of peace, blaming the world's situation itself instead of the people. Shinn should've make his own resolves about the Destiny plan and lead the whole thing while Durandal and Rey actually a bit hesitates about it instead of them seemingly convinced him to join the dark side. Rey would question himself and asked Shinn whether if they should do this, but Shinn was fully convinced due to the war he experienced, and Rey's situation of being a clone and not having that much time left. he would ensure no more kids like him and Rey would be born in this world, and those who would be born will only attain happiness, because Shinn too cherished Rey. this is where Kira and the others should starting reflect on what they had done so far. Shinn was someone whos willing to fight to protect others, and yet he just wants to end everything now. if they want to deny the Destiny plan, then they have to take responsibility of everything they had done. being forced on by someone else's beliefs, Athrun should realize that he is partially responsible for Shinn now falling into despair (like his the edge manga counterpart), and has to accept whatever Shinn felt towards him if he wants to move forward. everyone in Orb and the Archeangel, especially Kira has to own what he did to Stella despite his good intentions. even if it was for the greater good, he is still hurting Shinn, and if he didn't take blame, Shinn would keep blaming the world and himself. thats the weight of pulling the trigger. it is war, nothing is absolutely right or justifiable, and yet you still have to fight if you want to protect. with all of those preaches that war is bad, fighting wouldn't really end conflicts, in the end Kira would rather choose to fight in the endless conflicts rather than sacrificing his freedom, SOMETHING THAT SHINN EVER WANTED TO DO IN THE FIRST PLACE DESPITE ATHRUN'S YAPPING ABOUT IT. isn't that why Athrun asked Shinn to remember what he wished? fighting to protect instead of ending it all? Despite the guy partially responsible of making him into thinking so? "she is also an EA Pilot extended, many ZAFT soldiers are killed by her". yes, it didn't change the fact that Stella did them, and what Shinn did was far from the right thing, but Athrun wasn't helping the situations either. those came from the guy who got shot down because "Cagalli is crying", he wasn't totally wrong but he wasn't in the slighest convincing. Athrun is one of the worst mentor I've ever seen. Finally after Shinn's defeat and failing to protect the Destiny plan, in the end he couldn't truly forget his hatred even after trying to put the behind for the sake of peace. but this time Kira, Athrun and the others will deal with those feelings instead of telling "hatred is bad" for the sake of saying it alone. hatred is also a part of human, and Shinn has his hatred for the loves that he lost. if Shinn ended up hating them, Kira and Athrun will accept it, as it isthe part of the consequences of the world they fight for, the world where people can choose, be it choosing to fight, choosing to hate, or choosing to forgive. if this was the awareness and the direction the show had, then Shinn forgiving them and forgiving himself could've been paid off in the narative. this would make more satisfying conclusion rather than Kira taking him in and forcing the resolution on him.
Maybe the SEED writer should have watched Fafner and took notes on temporary biomechanical functions. That is, between robot and person. People pilot mechs in Fafner and have full control of robots while piloting after feeling some pain in their limbs.
How should I improve the plot:I want stella to stay alive and Let Shin win the battle against Athrun then the final battle with Kira after he defeat Rey then Stella appear(with normal Zaku warrior or something) and sacrifice herself to save shin and then Seed mode battle, then who win is not matter.

This is what it should be.
Totally agree man!

Imagine if all seed destiny op were ignited but diff ver,I could live with that, this would be a ver 4
種死オンエアの時代が違えば、最終回は怒涛の伏線回収や最終回に一期OPを持ってくる熱い展開があったかも知れないよな
The edit work here is superb. Awesome and amazing job done, mate. Shinn is proud :D

Destiny Gundam is the best Gundam design for me 😎
今BSの放送でデスティニーの再放送やってるけどそのオープニングこれにして欲しいレベルで上手w
This feels like the opening for a version of Gundam SEED Destiny from The Good Timeline, where Shinn and Lunamaria actually get to be cool characters instead of getting tossed aside to focus on Kira effing Yamato once again
これが…野生の公式……!!
正式主人公をドブに落とす様な真似をしてなければ、Destinyは満場一致の名作になってたろうになぁ……。
このOP本編で見たかったな(´;ω;`)

I love this song 3000x 🔥🔥🔥

大人になればなるほどオーブって糞だなってなってシンに同情できるようになったわ。
レイと議長は洗脳してくるし、アスランは鉄拳制裁にパワハラしてくるし環境が最悪すぎる。
本編がこれだったらよかったのに

Good Job!❤
