I bought the hp zbook 17 g6 laptop it has quadro rtx 3000 a core i9-9880H and 32 ram The gpu temperatures were fine but my cpu ones were reaching 85-95 i went to the adaptor power options to disable the boost mode and the temperatures dropped to 65-60 for the cpu Do you suggest making the turbo mode enabled again Even tho i heard very high temperatures like these shortest the lifespan pretty fast
Yes, Iam using Dell Precision 7740 with i7 9850H and quadro RTX 3000.I would recommend keeping the boost mode on since you would be losing a lot of performance by disabling it . About the temperatures, u need not worry about them because the system itself throttles to compensate for the heat .
