Mati Sarkic passing was so sad 😢 was young!! The first match back without him was so heartbreaking especially seeing his parents/twin/partner pitch side
Ah Dud. Commonly believed to be the nicest, friendliest, most helpful footballer of the 60's and 70's, sadly often to the detriment of his own career. Lovely guy, and close friend of another footballer who is happily still with us (won't tell you, all I'll say is he scored a very famous goal for Wales against England!).
It seems that footballers and celebrity deaths, to whom most of us don't know, or haven't met, are portrayed as a greater tragedy, than when we mere mortal souls depart this world.
Ironic fact about jimmy husband as he played for Everton, he also was the landlord of the thorndyke arms in a small village in Bedfordshire called Everton! He also played for the local Sunday side called Everton Spartans.
Stan was a Manchester lad, born in Collyhurst. He first made his League debut for Man City in 1967 before eventually ending up playing for QPR. He was a regular member of the side under manager Dave Sexton that came second to Liverpool in the 1975/6 season.
I watched Stan throughout his career at loftus rd including his debut against Forrest after he joined the Rs from Carlisle for £110,000. He's my all time favourite QPR player.
They were born in the British Isles so therefore they were British , with such a gentle lovely tribute to these guy's why do you need to swear ? , I was born in Manchester , England but secondly I'm British and North America isn't a Country it's a continent so I'd say you couldn't be a North American but you could come from the area

no such thing as British football players, that's like saying North American footballers when you mean the USA ffs
it counts if they played in the prem or the division 1 when it used to be called it before the premier league was invented

No such thing as being British or North American? Idiotic comment.
