Prudhvi seems offended more by SSR's politics than it's supposed flaws. Almost everyone including the director himself disregarded the first half. He says he wants reason for why he is a writer, why he is a communist or why the "villain" is a Brahmin. I mean, will you ask these questions if he is a mechanic, doesn't have any political beliefs(or beliefs you don't like)? That guy is a Brahmin because he is a priest in that temple where he rapes those devadasis, historically this is a fact. So, I don't know why he gets offended by this. In fact, the closest to a "villain" is probably SSR's brother who kills him. SSR having such radical thoughts is the reason he fights against the devadasi system, that's why they included the untouchable scene in his introduction. The movie isn't perfect but these people seem more offended by it's supposed politics than anything else.
