Yikes 😳 if that happens here everything might collapse. People are struggling now, Mental health is declining and many people are one word away from a meltdown.
@@LifeWithChase Chase its nuts up here for pricing . Our governments are saying 7-8 % inflation but so many things are 2-3 hundred percent increased. Home heating oil is like diesel $3000 to fill a 250 gallon tank.
@@SteveRobReviews the price of fuel determines the price of everything else. Almost everything is moved by diesel at some point, whether it be truck, train, or boat.
Yep, example, dozer out of fuel, transfer tank in truck empty but excavator has fuel. pull excavator beside dozer fuel up dozer from the excavator and refill the transfer tank on the way home instead of having to stop just to go get fuel for the dozer. I've had to stop doing something and go get fuel before even though I had enough in something else but no good way to transfer it. I've transferred over 100 gallons so far. I hope it keeps working cause it is handy.
@@tristardiggin probably around 200 ish maybe a little over. Just have to remember to keep the battery charged. I really wish it took a DeWalt or Milwaukee battery because I always have one of those charged, but it could get converted if that becomes an issue LoL
I know these pumps state they are for diesel or kerosene use- I’m assuming for liability purposes if used with a more volatile fuel such as gasoline. What are your thoughts on using one for gasoline? I need to find a gas pump solution that doesn’t cost $500 or more.
Never tried to pump gasoline, But I do know You have to be aware of static electricity when pumping gas. It can create a spark and go boom 💥😀 I'm sure someone has more knowledge on the safety aspects of pumping gas safely.
Thanks, good video. Two questions if you don't mind. Do you have a bypass oil filter on your truck? How often do you change the oil in your truck? Happy Thanksgiving.

piped up an M18 pump, Gonna make a setup like yours, thx
Thanks for sharing this , that would be handy in an emergency. I would carry it with me all the time. Hope you had a good thanksgiving
I don't carry it with me but it's handy around the shop.
Works great bud. Last week we hit a high of $3 a litre for diesel , that about $10.50 a US gallon.

A liquid pipe dope is better than Teflon tape on aluminum housings . Teflon tape is very slippery and control is lost on the actual tightness .
Definitely would be nice to have around. Great idea...

@9:53 use pipe dope for water / gas, not Loctite

Chase - just filling up… how is the pump holding up? How about the battery? Any suggestions or upgrades from your second design?
TY
Still working so far. The battery and the plastic housing could be more robust. I like the setup though.

No oil filter bypass. Usually 15-20k. Will be doing videos on some lab test soon. Stay tuned
