- hey!, here im testing the sprites and music i did for Tabi, which will appear in Funkin aside!
keep in mind that the sprites can be changed in the final product, and will oviously get a custom BG
Funkin aside is not canon to the Official lore of Tabi.

Yo these sprites are actually better than I imagined, I'm loving the down sprite. And his voice sounds more alive, if that makes sense. And the music is incredible, can't wait for this mod man, great job tenzu
yup, voice also got reworked so he wont be repeating the same vocals over and over, or at least thats the intention

apologies if this sounds over the top but the tabi mod was and still is one of my favorite mods so something like this makes me so happy, like I could just cry tears of joy. everything about this is incredible, the voice, the instrumentals, the sprites, the beatboxing... it's incredible. I'm so happy to see one of my favorite mod characters get a revamp like this, amazing job tenzu this is godlike and I really look forward to this when it's finished :)

Love your work here, looks great, sounds great. I did want to point out though that some of Tabi's sprites get a bit cut off at the top during his animations. It's not super noticeable, it took me multiple times watching this to see it, but I did notice it. Not hatin, still love what you're doin here.
yup is a bug when exporting, xml being fucked up by layer parenting in adobe animate, fixed

How did I not see this for 12 days? Like, holy shit. The design of the character is absolutely amazing, loved how his eye sockets for the skull changes colors corresponds to his notes, and vocals for the music hits hard. 10/10 in general.

nah, after properly mixing the the track I decided to go with this volume so it can be more pleasent to the ears

I feel like the up sprite is my only gripe. I will say, I like it a lot if it was its own custom sprite for when Tabi laughs during the little rap section, but I don't necessarily like the fact that he's pointing upwards. I get that it's to make it so it plays along with the arrow he's hitting so you know it's up, but yeah, not exactly my favorite
Either way though, looks sick dude, and can't wait to hear the rest of his songs, because that voice is *smooth*

I'm not gonna lie, Neon Marrow is astronomically catchy, but I just wanna hear more about this guy (and by hear, I mean tracks). Don't worry, my G. I may not be much of a huge fan of FnF but I am one of music, which is where I recognized some pretty good stuff all around the game.
And then I dropped in on Tabi, found myself liking the character and his songs a whole lot, only to finally found who created him to find Tabi an insane redesign which looks pitch perfect and to hear him in a less battly situation but moreso having fun along with BF.
It may not be cannon to see them being friendly, but I'd love to see some more of that, and in some ways I'd hope to see actual mods where we see Tabi's end of the story, how he came to become this goat headed skeleton with an insane voice.
is funny bc this tabi's new lore is like, well is a new lore and this tabi is more cocky and mean than the OG one XD

It's kind of a "Vegeta effect" I feel more interested in that side character than in the main character as I find hom more relatable. Even if he ends cockier and meaner doesn't mean that it would lower my interest. If anything it makes him more interesting to analyze.
