Sharon, a perfect beginner project. Super easy and he explains things so well. I have been sewing for years, but I appreciate people that are straight and to the point and don’t take an hour and 1 million words to teach you some thing that takes 15 minutes. I’m sure you will do great.

What purpose does the batting serve? Does it stablelise the plate etc? Seems to me items on top wud be wobbly..
