The first coaster isn’t higher because there is a 2nd coaster entered immediately in the market. The coaster might go higher if there is no substitute to buy.
Yeah, it'd be interesting to see how these two do if we don't get another for a long time...
I think the Globe will not do well. I think too many people will think its the next World Map and there will be too much supply and not enough demand. They are different sets. The World Map you can hang on your wall and mark where you've been. I think its a better display piece and has more appeal than the globe, especially among non-traditional Lego fans. Plus even though it's a technicality, the World Map is the largest set ever by piece count and there are people that want it just to be able to say they have the largest set and have built it.
Great comment, all great points! I think I need to cool my opinion on this set going forward. Originally when it came out I was a big no for investing. But with the success of the world map and the fact that a globe is classy (and the stand and cradle are really classy on this build), my enthusiasm went up a bit. I'm not all the way back to zero, but I am down to below average enthusiasm. I'm going to watch it, but only pick it up if there is a big sale! Take it easy!

Nice video. Managed to pick up Pac-Man at 33% off in the UK. Quite happy that in the last few months got Ninjago City Gardens at 33% off, The Cantina at 30% off and Eldorado at 25% off (which was very fun to build).

That's a good point! And these stickers are really good! I don't mind Lego stickers generally, but on a collectable display set aimed at adults I worry about the stickers deteriorating over time. Good comment, thanks!
Im picking up the Cantina on May 1st, super excited. I hope the $80 in lego insider points hits my insider account within 24 hours so i can go back on May 2nd or 3rd and pick up the Ghost & phantom 2, get that for $130, pick up one more set to get over that $160 mark for a second free gift with purchase. Should save $80 from the cantina, then $30 from the discounted phantom, get 2 free gifts and put that $80 right back into the phantom. Still spending over $500, but im only spending $50 n the phantom + another small set to include the free gift.
That sounds like an awesome plan! I'm also excited and looking at those sets for the May 4th promo weekend. It looks like the sales and 4X insider points are starting on the 30th... I’m absolutely with you on the Sanctom Sanctorium. Great build great mini figs and has been way under the radar . I see this one popping in a few years and makes for a great modular building add on
Yeah, I definitely agree with you. Initially I was undervaluing the modular building aspect of it. But with little to no modification, this set will fit right in great with a modular building city. Later bud!
I personally think 76218 Madness Sanctum Sanctorum will be a huge winner.

The NES is super high on my wish list (one of the few we disagree on). I am really hoping I catch a sale before it retires this year.

Just a quick fact about ninjago 71741. I added this set in my Vinted "want" list as a guy was selling one for 265€ and i took more than 1 month to sell. Ok it was first sub 300€ before lego highered the price to 350€ but i'm puzzled it took that long to sell at such a great price.
265€ for 6000 pieces is bargain.
Yeah, that's a really good point. The larger sets do take longer to find a buyer (another reason I don't like to invest in > $500 sets). I'm hoping once 71741 retires, it will be easier to find buyers!
@@kdxbricksanalytics you have a point. This is why i bought for 20€ two Lord of the rings brickheadz just to see how they'll go since you mentioned those. Balrog & Gandalf + frodo + Gollum for 20€ was an instant buy. People are reselling gifts it's not possible otherwise 😂

Pretty much all retailers that carry Lego. But mostly Walmart, Target, Amazon, Best buy and Barnes & Noble.
