Difficult to find advice on video for the X-Pro 2. But then I found you. Now I can actually set it to record, your advice about keeping the settings the same (shutter speed, ISO, etc) works great, I do happen to love the video out of this camera. So just to say thank goodness for you doing this... Cheers buddy, gonna find you on Insta.......
I got my first ever Fuji a few days ago and it is xpro2 graphite! I can't comprehend how much this camera rocks! And when I found out about video that is super easy to use I was even in more shock! This is the most fun I ever had with any camera! Thanks for your video, things are clear now!
Got the same one a few days ago. Love the camera and the graphite finish. Just wish Fuji released graphite editions of the 35 and 50. I got both in silver and in hindsight I wish I had gotten black.
WOW thank you for sharing your time and knowledge. I've had my XPro-2 for years and have never shot video, you just inspired me to go out and give a try.
wow, such an informative video! I’m a long-time X-pro2 still photo camera user who want to shoot some video recently. Thank you for your time putting this all together!
Thank you so much for this video. I was trying to decide between XE-4 and X-Pro2 and the weather seal was the biggest problem but I also wanted a usable video… here you showed it’s really great option for a B cam or just street video. Thank you!
OMG. How timely of a video... I really need a video camera, I have an X-Pro 2. I love it. I guess I can use it for video for now. I've shot some video with it., just clips.
I’m actually selling my xpro2 and getting a xt5 so I can improve my video for my channel, but still have a photo focused camera. I need the upgrade but I love my xpro2, it’s kinda killing me inside.
I thought about this also, an Xpro2 user here, but i've come to a compromise. Keeping the Xpro2, but getting the XT3 the body can be picked up for £500. You can get two XT3s (XT30) spend money on a monitor and get a zoom lens. Sorted. I would regret selling my Xpro2, as I don't know how to use it. The XT5 feels great in the hand, i've heard the same as the (nearly) as the XT3. Happy shooting!
@@JLStreetDoc bro that's saying something, well done man!!!! I get it. I really do! I've been wracking my brains over this as well. I'm going to take advantage of the used market and opt for the XT3. What's your plan for video? I need the xt3 to record my podcasts and make films. In the future once I've got video down to a T I'm thinking of keeping the Fuji gear and going for the FX30 for video as I'd like to enter the video documentery stuff. That's the dream.
@@mashudali8482 I’m actually borrowing my step sons Sony a6400 to shoot my in studio video for my UA-cam channel and I use a GoPro when I’m doing pov stuff on the street. I pretty much have unlimited use of his camera. But if I didn’t, then I’d probably just get the Sony zv-1. Which I did have for a short time.
@@JLStreetDoc that's sweet man - I've subscribed! Your channel looks sweet. I'm also thinking about the 7artisans 23mm keep it going man, you got this!
Thank you for your video and awesome footage! Quick question, what film simulation were you using for shooting video? All was Classic Chrome and later you color graded on top of that? Thanks again.
That's a great question! All the footage except the talking heads was recorded using the Classic Chrome film simulation. Anything that doesn't say straight out of camera footage is color graded. Hope it helps! Thank you for supporting the video!
Man I got an XS20 and have been filming at my desk with my Anker C200 webcam! 😅 Problem is my XS20 crashes on my M1 Mac mini... I am thinking about the opal C1 for my desktop videos. Oh man. I'm silly.

I think the x-pro2 and x-t2 have the same sensor so video should be the same
Don't overheat it. Sensors are made to be used. It is like you are asking will my car engine wear out over time if I drive with AC on. Do short clips, you will be fine.

9:52 X-T2, X-PRO2, X-E3, X-T20 and X100F have the same x-trans III. sensor. The video capabilities of these cameras should be the same.
I just wish there was a flat profile like F-log, it would be brilliant. The main issue I have is the heavy contrast.
Agreed... Might be a way to flatten the contrast all the way in one of the flatter simulations to offset that while shooting video
Thanks for this video. I'm looking for a second Fujifilm camera i also can use for my UA-cam videos and was not sure if X-pro2 was an good option.
very helpful thank you

Really wonderful. Thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words!
By default the movie record button is mapped to the fn1 button. You can, of course, map that function to any of the other fn buttons
I really like the color tone you took with XPRO2, will you share it later?
I'm glad that you like the colors of the video! We will try to make another video about our camera settings, stay tuned!
@@henrymediagroup Thank you so much, looking forward to your videos.😘
Is that was used with a gimball? Because it's quite steady for a camera that is not stabilized
