Love this club, love this team
So so much 😇
The sound at home games now is insaneeee. Haven't heard it like this since the Koeman era
Loved Ralph's face as he calls to Long at the end to congratulate him. Great result. All those who thought we were going to be relegated...so glad saints have proved them wrong. COYRs
You can’t possibly be a Saints fan if you’re already putting relegation out of mind! Eight points to go, haha.
@@8964TS Nah, we're safe. 14 points ahead. It'd have to be one almighty collapse for us to go down now and considering the 10 teams below us are going to have to play each other quite often, we'd realistically have to lose every game to go down.
What a team
Stuart armstrong our unsung hero. And kwp seems to get better and better every game.
Yesss Saints c.one..
Wishes from Austria 👍
This is awesome!!
Great win...Great all round chaps. Keep it up!
Congratz ; The Saints, Good Win 👍👍
I wish these highlights were longer. I wanna see more of the celebrations.
This
Well done saints with Norwich, Watford, Burnley, Leeds and Newcastle coming up that really could be 15/15 points
They look such a tight knit group of players!
i love my team
Delighted for shane long could be his last PL goal hope not though
Na nananna shane longggg
Up the saints mush 🔴⚪️🔴⚪️👍🏻👍🏻🔥🔥🔥
Let's try and remember this next time we get a dodgy result and turn on Ralph again.
I think the frustration earlier this season wasn't so much directly targeted at Ralph it was more frustration with the club in general. The stagnation under Gao and the fact we started to lose our best players to not only the top clubs but the ones around us, people couldn't see a way out without change and that frustration was unfairly taken out on Ralph
@@tacitplague7079 That's a very interesting point but the problem is with Gao, a law was passed three weeks after he brought the club that prevented Chinese natives from investing in foreign sport. That's not his fault.
Personally I think our fanbase have turned into spoilt, entitled brats since returning to the PL but then I think most fans are.
My local team is Plymouth Argyle and I go and see them semi regularly and I'm always amazed by how awesome the fans are of Argyle and the opposition. When a player loses the ball, there's no moans or groans, no getting on the player's backs, they just get behind the team like we used to at that level.
@@matthill3293 i know the back story with Gao and to be fair to him he could have sold us to the first asker and not cared how that would impact the club but he did allow us time to find the seemingly right owners (time will tell) so he clearly isn't a bad guy but the perception before the sale was as a bad owner. I definitely think there's an element of us having too much success too quickly giving people unreasonable expectations. But I wouldn't necessarily say they're entitled it's easier to stomach bad results and losing your best players if there seems to be a plan in place whereas before it just felt like we were treading water waiting to be sold. From my experience with saints fans they mostly believed ralph was a good manager but that at times he would be too inflexible with how he approached games and not make changes when we had injuries and the players who had to fill the gaps weren't able to sustain the high pressing football for 90 months as well as our first team.
@@matthill3293 and id have to agree our support was better in the lower leagues but I think that's a premier league problem not a Southampton problem. A lot of the really passionate fans can't afford to go to every game anymore due to the increasing ticket prices and you get more people who perhaps wouldn't be interested in seeing Saints vs Wycombe or someone similar going to matches just because we're playing a "big" team
