I live in zone 8 with a couple windmill palms. One just sprouted several large clusters of seeds. I think I may try growing some :). These are considered slow growing species but they put out several spears a year. I would guess 8-10. Supposedly only grow about 3" a year

Did you grow the foxtail from seed?
This one I did not. Got it as a end of summer special 4 years ago. I do have one I grew from seed a little smaller
