the way stephanie was so involved in ridge's love life totally mimics how bill is so involved in liams love life. The writers are totally grooming Liam to become the new "Ridge" while Brooke and Taylors daughters carry on their legacy of fighting over a man.

Jeff Trachta really changed the role into a more submissive Thorne. Clayton Norcross would not mind threathening Ridge and had some pride. This Thorne always looked as if he just had cried ; )
I didn't watch all of Stephanie and Brookes storylines but I didn't understand how they became buddies at the end can someone enlighten me? I mean it was more interesting when they were always fighting.
Erik was having an affair with Margo his secretary when the show began episode one I believe and when Stephanie finished the affair by threatening Margo, Margo indicated that she wasn’t the first and wouldn’t be the last woman for Erik to have an affair with. The only difference with Brook was Erik divorced Stephanie for Brook.
No Eric wasn't having an affair with Margo in Episode 1. It was just that Margot was in love with Eric. There was no indication of Eric returning her feelings at all.
As always, Stephanie accused Eric of having an affair with Margo but he was not. Margo did have a thing for Eric but he did not return her feelings. Margo was having an affair with Ridge when the soap began but it was given the impression it wasn't serious on Ridge part. I think Ridge had broken off with Margo and she was trying to move on. But he would openly flirt with her while he was engaged to Caroline and later trying to date Brooke.
Vanessa Walker Yes.. She was engaged to Ridge first but she called it off after he cheated. Afterwards she got raped and thorn was there for her so she married him because she was grateful to him.
I always hated Stephanie. She just couldn’t mind her own business. She always wanted to control her kids lives. Or she was desperate for Eric to take her back while he was involved with other women. She was basically miserable the entire run of her time on the show. I thought having Stephanie become friends with Brooke at the end of her life actually made her look worse. Because in the end Brooke was being the bigger person.
Ridge had the longest relationship with Brooke, not Caroline. So Caroline was out of order. Caroline and Thorne's courtship was 3 years old along with Ridge and Brooke's. Caroline and Ridge only were dating for 6 months and trying to get married.
Thorne and Caroline were together for 1,5 year, from late 1987 until summer 1989. We do not know how long Ridge and Caroline were dating for the show started. However what do lenghts have to do with it at. Thorne and Caroline were in trouble after 2 months or so of marriage and from then only married on paper. Besides that he had the longest continuing relation and marriage with Taylor from 1998 until 2002. However I have not watched it recently.
He told her years later if Stephanie had put half the energy into her marriage to Eric as she did in who was Ridge was ph#cking he wouldn't walk out on her. Or something to that effect.
Stephanie drained Eric , always accusing him of having an affair and cheating on her when he was not. He was always incredibly loyal to her even though in the beginning of the soap it always was insinuated that he didn't really love her romantically. His heart always remained with Beth his true love. Stephanie with her arrogant controlling ways was always insecure about her marriage and it never seemed to matter to her that her husband was staying with her out of love and commitment but rather than duty. Eric was turned off by the way Stephanie treated other people and her ruthlessness.
@@rachybaby72 I agree, besides that she did not take it out on Brooke, but gave her a cold shoulder and even accepted her when she found out that Thorne shot Ridge. Her main stay in the house Stephanie encouraged Brooke and Ridge. Of course this was not genuine, however Brooke didn't suffer from that and Stephanie certainly did not broke of her relation with Ridge.
