I appreciate a front ensemble that doesn't obliterate the bars for 99% of their show. Incredible use of timpani as a melodic device. So much touch and musicianship here. Bravo.
Huh? Chino wasn't even there. But I will say Avon and Chino Hills were very close in score. It could've went either way. I disagree about the hype though. Avon's show had way more energy.
