Proud to work at one. Love learning how to do maintenance and the engineering aspect of them
Yessir brother who do you work for I work for club.
Seems difficult they pay well
Where is the rest of the video? wtf
No kidding, I was thinking the same thing. that really was a waste.
ikr
They featured Sonny's The Carwash Factory in this episode?! WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Sonny’s is the company I work for, pretty cool to see how all our equipment works in an actual car wash
"the biggest robot we come face to face with in our daily lives" Wait wait wait I wash my car every day?!?!?!?!
Edward Elric l.
Edward Elric I do
Edward Elric lots of people do. Especially if your local car wash offers a primo unlimited monthly pass
Yes
Automatic car washes truely are the best
Pretty cool
Good video, but I felt it was only half the story. What about how the mechanisms work as a car goes through the car wash?
Part 2 for this?
I was rear ended in a 1 car at a time car wash somehow today, so it's nice to know that the conveyor belts are only 1 direction.
Nice animations, really cool show
Helo people,
Which software is used to create these beautiful assembly animations for "HOW THEY WORK"?
Any information is very appreciated.

Uhhh extremely expensive software

What’s the name of this car wash and where’s it located?
Car Wash: Robots in disguise
The same robots? In Iron Man? Lol? Just No!
To everybody saying they much rather wash it themselves. Are you gonna do it In 10 degree weather? Are you gonna do it after a snow to get rid of all the roadsalt? If not then I am gonna continue making a profit in my sonnys tunnel
i prefer using an IBA carwash than an express carwash
Of course, In places where it’s cold (in Canada, where I live) car washes are mostly indoor so you can dry your car, wax it etc when it’s cold
It’s also way cheaper, more efficient, doesn’t destroy your paint, and always does a better job than the automatic washes
Smh
@@DavidLeon140m3 IBA's are the disgusted thing in the world. They never clean good, make scratches. Except you are in german IBAs
Scratch factory!
@@hologammer1133 Kärcher all the way
Ummm... is that it? just the metal?
Wow
Anyone know where I can find the rest of the episode??
Yes I’m watching this while in a car wash
this is some avengers level CGI
CAR WASH LORE
I've been driving for years and only used a car wash once.
really?
Mario Iacolucci Ye, I guess if i didn't have a drive I would use them a lot more.
21st Century pkkj
21st Century I get a wash once a week
21st Century happy new year!
We use stainless steel
Is there a chance to miss that belt for the wheel when it goes inside the car wash machine?
No
No because a roller doesn’t come up until a sensor detects that the car is on the conveyor and is in position. That’s when the roller will come up.
Way better than cleaning the car urself
Better than the human hands. I’ve yet to find one to clean the outside of my Jeep Wrangler JL.
lol HEY EVERYONE, THIS GUY HAS A JEEP WRANGLR JL. BEEP BEEP MFKRSSSS
Those type of car washes tend to scratch the paint :(
Automatic car washes are the absolute safest and most effective way to wash a car. Brushes are rinsed with each rotation and do not hold dirt, thus eliminating any possibility of damage.
Abrasions are abrasions, which are minimal but...over time.
@@SFCarWashChannel Absolute best for the owners and manufactures perhaps
Where can I get the machine to buy ?
Hi, we have this machine. For price, pls add whatsapp +86-18037681896.
"far better than the human hand" Hmmmm
Lol I build these for a living its not as complicated as it seems lol
Alex Garcia where can I purchase this machine ?
Well seeing how there are specialized car cleaners for expensive supercars, hand washing is still the best and most through method
0:43 90 times a minute!! it's probably second and for god sake upload full videos.. :(
+Mohammad Sidrah that's 1.5 revolutions per second, which sounds accurate to me
+Mike Dawson Thanks, for some reason I expected it to be more but you are right.
Those giant spinning rubber brushes scratch and ruin your car's finish by dragging the dirt and grit scraping it across the paint. Wash it by hand or go to a touchless car wash instead.
*car wash lore*
that's it more like less than meets the eye
+Maher David Shhhh, what they are hinting at (but can't say outright) is that the car wash is a transformer...
+Zack Toor waximus prime
0:25 That's some BS and you know it! The car wash always leave my car dirty
Meanwhile a professional detailer will leave your car spotless
Go to a different carwash
Why can't the rain arch ain't working
How much capital does one need to start like this
I've worked at a few washes and have been in the industry for a while. I can testify that washing the car by hand at home is actually the worst thing for your car. The microfiber towels with the pressure the average person applies causes more scratches than any automatic brush which applies no more than 15 Lbs of pressure. Not to mention automatic washes use about 5-15 gallons of water per car and recycle their water whereas home washing uses anywhere between 55-105 gallons that wind up in the storm drain. In addition, most auto care manuals included with vehicles strongly discourage hand washing and touch free washes because of the damage.
nice use of exaggeration "55-105 gallons" I"ll believe that when pigs fly, when the moon turns blue, and when I see it happen. It take a bucket full of water to wipe away and dirt and dust, maybe three for a really dirty car. And how would I know? I see it happen!
55 Gallons? Full of BS. I rather wash my car with a clean brush and still use less than 10 gallons of water. The car wash carries many dirt particles and some debris from other vehicles that scratch your vehicle.
Also, all auto care industry will best advised it's best results to wash the car by hand.
Not sure how true those statements are. Touch free has no bristles to hold dirt or swirl the paint. Explain that to me and I'm not being sarcastic, I just want to know because I use touch free on my new car. Also I work with a guy so damn anal he ended up divorced...he washes by hand without fail one to two times a week, all year...his paint looks fine.
Sonny’s the car wash factory awesome 😎
when i was in canada my dad got in a mini car wash and when we got in i thought it was gigantic and made us drown xD
Lol a carwash does not do better then the human hand.
what’s unfortunate is that all this exaggeration is different with ann carwashes
Doing it yourself is the only true way to get a perfect clean car
wurly164 you gonna do it in 16 degree cold ass weather?
some carwashes scratch you vehicle also like one did to my cousins brand new car
I'm sorry, anyone who's ever used a car wash knows the machine doesn't come close to cleaning better than the human hand. In fact, it's cheaper to get your car washed by a team of professionals than it is to go through the machine AND they do a much better job.
+Bruce Long Yeah but the average joe that has a muddy F-150 isn't going to go all out and get his truck detailed, he will just take it to one of these " 3 minute" car washes.
+TehHijack most full service carwashes charge extra for mud removal, to prevent it from filling up their trench and also from getting on the brushes (and scratching other customer's cars)
+Mike Dawson They won't come and look at how muddy your car is, just buy a ticket and go in with you muddy truck.
Depends on the carwash operators. At the Express Wash that I work at, we turn away a lot of muddy vehicle's.

When i was a child i want to wash a car i. This thing while im inside
But we never wash our car
Well I wouldnt say better than a human hand.. just faster
I'm pretty sure I can hand wash my car better then any car wash out there
You can't. Even if you perfectly hand wash your car, your car is damaged because hand wash mitts, sponges, etc roll dirt around on the vehicle's surface, creating swirl marks. Brushes in an automatic car wash are rinsed constantly, removing any dirt that could be rubbed against the vehicle's surface. The material that brushes are made of are also incapable of absorbing dirt.
julio a we do a better job anyway
Welcome to..... The Swirl Maker
It’s not as bad as people make it seem
@@DEPDelight Says the tunnel wash salesman
hands leave swirl marks not tunnels. tunnels will leave large damage if there's an incident but that's rare no different than how you could drive out of a parking lot and get hit, shit happens.
@@humvnerr0r844 so having grit off the sides parts that spin on the wheels and then go across the lower side of the car, rubbing in the grit doesnt cause swirls... its well known that these type of car washes cause swirls. 2 bucket method via hand and your basically sorted, not 100 % avoidable ofcouse but much much less chance of getting so many

Those automatic car washes are shit and we know it. Always get a wash done by hand, they will we better.
Dr.Detail You couldn’t be more wrong. Rather than waste my time trying to explain the facts, you should probably read this, www.cartoyzofhavasu.com/Texas-Study.pdf
Butter from bts is coming
How do they clean a car better then the human hand ? Ummm they dont.... like they dont even come as close to doing as good of a job.. like they aren't even in the same league.... like what ?!?!?
Aluminum can rust, give it a little mercury. I did not like this video and I found it juvenile.
Too much wielding flash in this video, hurt my eyes. Its the most stupid way to make a video just to show a flash of radiation
Too bad for you then
So what it's only 1% of you whose eyes are getting hurt.
+Haridio Putra You won't die, dieing is the worst right?
This won't hurt you unlike the real deal if you weren't wearing a hood
This explained nothing
It can clean cars far better than the human hand?
I'm not to sure about that. Sure it can clean a car better than your average joe who just uses a bucket of water and soap, and maybe a preasure washer. But these car washes are nothing compared to a proffessional job.
