The table is not an official addon, so some modification and problems are expected to make it work. I've just had to upgrade from a £200 Chinese bandsaw. The difference in build quality is like night and day. Everything is smoother and more precise on the Femi, and the casting is 8 times thicker in crucial places. The Chinese saw didn't last, the castings started failing immediately, then one of the gears failed and left me unable to continue my project that I'd taken time off work to do. I also looked at the famous "4x6" bandsaw originally designed by Clarke. I decided on the Femi as it's quicker at changing the mitre angle and takes up a lot less space. The Clarke also requires tuning to get it working well, whereas the Femi works out of the box. Bandsaws are expensive, all of them. But they make work more pleasurable, less noise, heat and sparks, safer, more precise. Especially for cutting stock which needs to be straight enough to sit properly in a chuck or mill.
Got to admit it doesn't look much, but cutting looks a lot faster and definitely cleaner than a grinder. Only time will see if it's worth it like you say.
Well it’s marketed as being able to, and for the money they cost, they should be able to do exactly as advertised and able to do it well. So why would a person not buy it for whatever reason when they gladly advertise it as capable. Instead of questioning this guy, why not question the manufacturer on why their equipment doesn’t work as advertised

There IS a locking pin, its the one with the small black knob on it near the bottom that goes in a hole into the moving arm !!!!!!!!
Why would you buy one of them to use as a horizontal bandsaw when there main use is to cut steel and mitre. The horizontal part is a bit of a gimmick

You would think they would have a way to lock it into 90°
Hey have you used this horizontally of so how is it accuracy wise?
How is this holding up? also, does it use carbon brushes?
