Thank you so much Pastor Peter for sharing this message today. The Lord Jesus came into my life in August 1974. Today the Lord knew what I needed to hear this morning. My home church is on a retreat while I am preparing to move. Only Jesus knew how much I need to hear this. Amen and Amen.

In 50:52 , by the way Ptr. Peter delivered his preaching, I am having an impression that by surrendering to God, my name will be written in the book of life. Is he implying that man has participation in his salvation? Is he saying that someone’s name being in that book is dependent whether that person surrenders or not? How will he reconcile it with 1:01:29, when he said that reconciliation is an act of God? which means that God took the initiative to reconcile to himself, through Jesus Christ, the man who is utterly depraved and unable to seek God, unable to surrender to God.
Hi sir, reconciliation is indeed an act of God. It cannot be done by human intervention. God took the initiative and did everything in completion. We can receive His gracious act by putting our faith in what Jesus has done on the cross. By surrendering our attempt to earn God’s salvation by our own acts and deeds, and putting our confidence to the finished work on the cross. Also, acknowledging that the one who died is a Lord overall creation, thus living under and submitting to His Lordship and Kingship.
