  • Hwayasan is a mountain spanning Cheongpyeong-myeon and Seorak-myeon in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, and Seojong-myeon in Yangpyeong-gun. It is a mountain connected from Pyorubong to the south of Cheongpyeong Dam, and has Yongmunsan Mountain as its parent mountain. The mountains are steep and the valleys are deep. If you climb up the main ridge, you can hike while looking at Cheongpyeong Lake. It is the tallest mountain among the long mountains across the river on the way to Cheongpyeong. Because it is a rocky mountain, it is not very difficult. The road is single, and there are mountaineering club ribbons hanging here and there, so there is no need to worry about getting lost. The main ridge path leading to the summit requires crossing several small peaks, but the path is smooth and easy. The summit is a fairly wide and flat heliport. The Bukhan River flows around three sides of the mountain, so the scenery is beautiful and Cheonmasan Mountain, Chukryeongsan Mountain, Homyeongsan Mountain, Ungilsan Mountain, Gokdalsan Mountain, Yumyeongsan Mountain, Myeongjisan Mountain, and Unaksan Mountain are spread out, but they are difficult to see because they are obscured by the surrounding trees.
