My first trip to Sydney arriving from the airport by Train. The thrill for me was looking to my right from this station and seeing the opera house proper for the first time. Love going down to Circular Quay on all the trips I've made to Sydney over the years. A great buzz about the place. The great thing is all the modes of public transport in one area. My last trip was seeing the trams running and taking a ride up through the city by tram. (sorry light rail, comes from living in Manchester lol).
Thank you for another great video and a multi modal one at that. I am a retired bus driver and had 37 years service. I was disappointed to see the lazy driving as only one driver attempted to stay in the lane when turning into Alfred st. He almost got you with his mirror. I found that turn challenging but could usually turn without crossing the line, depending on the number of taxis parked there. Thanks again Phil and stay safe and healthy.
@@raph6931 I’m talking about use in patronage on all modes of transport, Circular Quay is the only station where you can have a tram to, a bus to, a train to or a ferry to, it is most likely the 2nd busiest station on the PT network, but I’d say Town Hall might be the 2nd busiest in terms of only train usage.
@@Alexander_Dunn Town Hall and Wynyard are still second and third respectively because of just how many trains use them, not to mention both stations have buses and light rail too. The T1, which passes through both, is the single busiest train line in Oceania. There are even times of day where Town Hall and Wynyard beat Central, although measuring by 24 hour increments, Central is number one. Circular Quay has surprisingly low usage considering how many train, bus and ferry lines go through it. I'd imagine it's because Circular Quay is at a bottom of a hill and not that close to the majority of Sydney's offices. Even more surprisingly, St James isn't even in the top 20 in terms of patronage, with some local stations like Kogarah beating it. Stations in the CBD rank Central (1st), Town Hall (2nd), Wynyard (3rd), Redfern, Martin Place, Circular Quay, Museum, St James.
Sydney Trains Vlogs I am nice to know you’re staying safe and I’m enjoying all of the content you’re putting out there. It’s just so relaxing watching trains and other transport vehicles going past
Congrats on 1700 Vlogs Phil, nice to see your shaking it up a little bit. Excellent vlog as always, I hope your last video will be at central station when your 99 for vlog 29,867 lol
@LW F Thanks for you respond me , and the third rail is not dangerous ?? I think is more expinsive than the catenary., becouse I think is more complicate system-protect

Hey Phil nice vlog I really like it.
Thank you :)
great video Phil have a great day
Sydney’s second biggest transport hub in Sydney in terms of use probably after Central
The second biggest is Town Hall, then Wynyard, then Parramatta and North Sydney

What buses go from downstairs?
Buses to Bondi, Coogee, Maroubra, Ryde etc
Buses to manly go from there?
@@maxmccarthy3835 No, those tend to depart from Wynyard. Circular Quay's bus interchange is for services to the Eastern Suburbs and the Ryde area.
I can't with for 2000 vlogs!
Still a few away from 2000 lol :)

No, it left Australia a few days ago
It left Port Kembla 2 or 3 days ago i believe
