Ornaments is not a crime, probably loos who was being different during his beaux arts time probably made sense but he doesn't know that this is now being influenced and unfortunately has created a blockage to ornamentation and ideas of past architecture which is not fair. Ornamentation is important for architecture, it gives the building it's character and as well blocks the evolution of new types of ornaments.

Were you not allowed to critique Loos' ideas? Look at the building behind you. Is that not dull and sterile? Did we gain anything from shedding the world of ornamentation, which is a truly human thing? Or did we just prepare the world for screens?

No, Beauty is not a subjective term. Unfortunately kids go to school to unlearn common sense. It should be evident by now that ornament is necessary and that modern buildings make us spiritually sick. It will take 100 years of neuroscience to prove that traditionalists have been right all along. It's a pity that we must waste so much time and effort doing flat roofs and international style type architecture. People need to wake up
