- Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is a hiker and trail runner's dream. Miles of perfectly groomed trails through the spectacular and mystical hoodoos that form its slot canyons, spires, windows, fins and spires. We only had one day to explore Bryce NP, so we figured.... why not just do ALL the major hikes in Bryce in a day? We started at Sunset Point on the Queen's Garden/Navajo Loop, made our way through the Peak-A-Boo Loop, hiked back up to Sunrise Point, down over to the Fairyland Loop, and ended with a spectacular run along the Bryce Rim Trail to Bryce Point. Wow. That was one unforgettable hike! If you're thinking of visiting Bryce, winter is a fantastic time to go. And give some of the lesser known trails a try!
#brycenationalpark #running #nationalparks
Ran into them in the parking lot after this hike…such genuine people just like in their videos! They asked me what trail I did and I told them peekaboo loop…I asked them what trail they did and they said “all of them” lmao. These two are incredible and inspire this East coaster to keep filling up my bucket list. They also shared some great info for my upcoming Kilimanjaro trip. 💜 ✊🏻
Matthew! It was so fun running into you guys -- seriously a highlight of our whole trip. And don't hesitate to reach out with any questions as your Kili adventure approaches -- we're so excited for you!! Oh, and speaking of, you gotta try Indo-Italiano in Moshi. Some of the best food we've ever had. ❤️
Your best video ever. The cinematography is amazing. Thank you. Thank you.
Wow Matthew thank you so much! It makes us really happy to hear that, because it was so utterly astonishing there in person and we were genuinely worried that our camerawork wouldn't do it justice. So glad to hear the beauty is coming through! ❤️
Ah! Was literally just refreshing my youtube because I seem to have watched every Utah hiking video available and voila! My two favorites upload a video ♥️
Aww that makes us so happy Jennifer! We never can seem to get enough of Utah hiking either. Hope you enjoyed this one! ♥️
That place is insane!! Thanks for carrying me along in your backpack - I hope I wasn't too heavy :-) Bryce was on my list but I have "upped" it much, much higher because of you.
That's wonderful to hear! We're very glad we could take you along, and feel confident in saying that you will not regret going to Bryce -- especially if you do the Peekaboo and Fairyland trails as well as the others. It's a lot of mileage but so, so worth it! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard We will definitely make it happen. I can't get that place out of my head now. lol
As Elise sings "open your eyes" we watch her running through Fairyland and it clicks - we are able to open our eyes to these wonders of nature because of Adam's directorial eye. It's the combination of real athleticism and the flow of an experienced videographer that creates the compelling dynamism in these fast-paced travelogues. It's always a trade-off for the athlete to get out of their flow and think about how to show others what a natural setting feels like. These guys are both cast and crew.
Thanks so much for expressing that Grant (and expressing it so eloquently too!). It really isn't easy to adventure and film at the same time, and it means a lot to us that you appreciate that. ❤️
And the quality of the video is amongst the best on UA-cam.
Greetings from Germany! Thank you so much for the wonderful and highly motivating videos. I really enjoy your positive energy and the beautiful landscapes you show us. 🙋♂️
Thank you very much, Jurgen! It makes us so happy that you're enjoying our videos all the way over in Germany, and the fact that it motivates you inspires us to keep going and finding interesting adventures. Very glad you saw this one -- it was truly an amazing place, and unique even in this very scenic part of the U. S. ❤️
I'm thankful this Thanksgiving for knowing your channel. You've brought me along to places I could NEVER be there. Be safe and happy Thanksgiving to both of you and your family!
Thank you so much, Giao! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well -- we're very grateful that you are joining us on these journeys, and so happy you are enjoying them! ❤️
Something fantastic about you guys all the energy needed for a full afternoon of workout I have to say thank you for the out standing camera work !
Thanks Patrick! Really glad you're liking the camera work -- we've been trying out some different angles and ways of shooting lately, with some long shots and some follow shots mixed in, and very glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
I am obsessed with this route and can’t wait until the weather at Bryce warms up! Thank you so much for the inspiration! You guys are amazingly awesome!
Yes!!! Really hope you do this route -- it was absolutely amazing. If the roads are open, we'd actually love to go back to Bryce and try at least some of these trails in the snow as well! ❤️
YES!!!!! I love Bryce, we put it off for some reason only to find out that it turns out to be one of most favorite in the West...we've been to 52 NPs now. This is fabulous, ambitious to say the least. Love you guys thanks again for taking us along
Wow Bill -- 52 NPs! That is a goal we'd like to achieve as well -- really shows a great breadth of travel and adventure. Meanwhile, totally agree about Bryce -- it often gets overlooked for some reason, but as soon as you're there you realize it's just about the most incredible place in the world! ❤️
I’ve been watching all your videos for a few months now. I’m amazed at the endurance of both of you. Was Adam a professional athlete at some point. I bet he could tear up an Ironman in his day, even now probably. Love you guys, Hank F
Thanks so much, Hank! So glad you're enjoying the videos. Adam was a fairly high level athlete in high school (all-state) and college, but never played any professional sports. As for an Ironman, we're both thinking that's something we'd like to do at least once in the future, though Adam needs to improve his swimming and Elise needs to improve her biking if we're going to do a full-distance Ironman. ❤️
Wonderful! Love the poetry, Adam, and love the new music, Elise. Such beautiful scenery--thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Bob! We'd love to go with you and Sharon some time -- you would both adore it, and would make a super fun family trip.
Not only is the scenery awesome, but I’m amazed at the marathon running, I’m fit, but nowhere near you guys.
Keep it up you two and thanks once again from Nebraska.
Thanks Monty! And to be honest, we got to rest a lot with all the filming. If we were doing this whole thing without filming, we would run the flats, downs, and slight inclines and probably just hike up the really steep parts. Psyched that you're able to watch these west coast adventures all the way out there in Nebraska -- beautiful country there, but really flat, right? You'll have to come out west at some point and explore some of these mountains! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard a lot of people from here would argue the flat statement, and it’s not all flat, but yeah.
As to getting out that way, I’m working on it.
@@montybarbee8128 Awesome! We really want to do a cross-country road trip, so hopefully we'll get to experience a Nebraska hike in person at some point.
Love it thank you 2 for taking us along! Glad ya made it safely!
Thanks John -- it was quite nice to do an adventure with relatively little physical danger this time! Spectacular scenery, smooth trails, and perfect weather -- couldn't ask for more than that. Glad you enjoyed! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I need that second song(all are amazing) but the second one is just something else! All those trails look amazing!
Bonnie we're so happy you like it!! A bunch of our songs are available for download on Bandcamp, and we'll put a few others up there soon! ❤️
You are right, this is Bryce Canyon like we never seen it. We visited in 2017 and we drove most of it, lol. Our kids were young at the time so we didn't do much hikes, but now they love hiking so when we go back, we will be trying one of these trails you went on, lovely video as always, take care friends! - Melissa
Thanks Melissa! That's great to hear that your kids love hiking -- we've been very lucky that way with Adam's daughter as well. When you go next time, we hope you'll try Peekaboo trail if you can -- it was definitely our favorite trail of all of them, and we think you will absolutely love it (assuming the kids are up for the extra 3 miles and maybe 1200 feet of climbing). ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Thanks Elise! That one looked amazing, you both did a great job capturing its beauty, and you make it look so easy running it! 😀
Hi guys, I hiked several trails through here in 1992, having camped in my tent at over 8000 ft elevation. I'm now 77. The rocks change colour depending what time of the day it is. Such an awesome place. Oldtimer Englishman from Shropshire who relives past adventures with you now.
Martin it's truly delightful for us to know that you're reliving some of your adventures through our videos. Adam has actually had a couple of adventures in Shropshire, believe it or not, hiking in the Shropshire Hills area before hitch-hiking a long and winding ride with a lovely couple on his way to climb in Snowdonia and then the Lake District, then ultimately winding up in Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival. He loved all of those areas, but of course it's tough for anywhere to top the natural wonders of Bryce! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Oh, that's lovely to know our paths may have crossed sometime.
Thank you for more beautiful views to brighten my day
So glad you liked it, Carl! The memory of that beautiful place is brightening our day too, as we both slog through seemingly endless amounts of work prior to Thanksgiving break. Hope you'll get a holiday break too! ❤️
Amazing, always only two of you as usual. How lucky you are 👍👍👍.
Thank you so much! That was definitely the biggest benefit to going in November -- it was far less crowded than in the summer, especially on the less popular trails, which in our opinion were the most spectacular ones! ❤️
Gorgeous! And the trail is nice too.
Aw thank you! I'm sure you're referring to Adam's lithesome legs in those tights, but I do my best to keep up with him 😂 --E
@@LiveHardxLoveHard You kids are pure awesome!
Awesome! Was there when sunrise campground was closing for the season the following day and had no idea about Bryce. Got there at dark. What the heck is sunrise anyway. awoke early, walked up and OMG! Next fav after Bryce was the escalate staircase area. Can’t Wait to spend more time in that region. Love, ,love, love the vocals, and thanks.
Haha that's a great way to discover Bryce, Kristy, and thanks much for the recommend on Escalante. We've never been, but if it's your second favorite after Bryce then we definitely have to go! So glad you're enjoying the music -- we've got a couple more we're working on now so more to come!! ❤️
Wow absolutely beautiful scenery and u guys are awesome.
Thanks so much! We were totally blown away by the beauty of Bryce -- especially the lesser known trails which in our opinion were actually the most spectacular! ❤️
For me this is your best video so far. You two are the real deal and are living the dream. We just returned from Bryce, Zion and the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago and it was awesome to see some of the particular spots we remembered. It is amazing how you two can put the adventure in front of as well as behind the camera. In the few short months that I have been watching your videos we have added several hikes to our must do list. We have hiked all over the Eastern US, Alaska and Switzerland but have done very little west of Colorado. Thank you very much for sharing your adventures with all of us.
Wow Steve thank you very much for that kind compliment! We're psyched to be helping you add hikes to your list, and very happy for you that you have so much of the western U.S. still left to explore. We've hiked in many of those beautiful places you mention as well. We LOVE the Alps, and have also had some awesome Alaska adventures (unfortunately before we did UA-cam though!). But in all our travels, we'd still say there is nowhere quite as spectacular and varied as the American Southwest, so you've got some major treats ahead of you!! ❤️
Gorgeous! I'm always amazed on how you magically have these hikes all to yourself! Good planning! Kudos to you both.
Thanks Brian! There are three tricks we can share about getting popular hikes all to ourselves: going offseason, going very early, and going fast. That combination of factors works wonders, because even if we aren't the first ones to start something like Whitney, running at least part of the way means we're usually the first ones to summit. Also, there is some self-editing involved in some places. Like on this one in Bryce, we were totally all alone on Peekaboo Trail but by the time we came up Navajo trail back to the rim the upper part of Navajo was crowded with people. But that was fine, we just avoided doing shots on that part of the trail knowing that once we got off of it and over to Fairyland we'd be all alone again, and that's exactly what happened.
@@LiveHardxLoveHard thanks for the three tips! You're a great inspiration for getting out and staying active....and of course indulging in a pop tart every now and then! Lol. I reside in Charleston SC ....but try my best to hike out West as often as possible.
@@briantodd4887 Right on! Can't wait to hear which hikes you do on your next trip out!!
You Two Amaze me !! If that is Elise singing in the music ,, Great Job ! ,, It sounds like her . Bryce is Very PurDEE !!!!
Thanks so much, Bob! Yes that is Elise singing on all the songs -- so glad you like the adventures and the music!!! ❤️
A great time of the year to be in Utah!
Great videography and editing.....as usual!
👍👍👍👍👍
Yes!! This was our first time visiting Utah so late in the year, and it was a revelation. We're gonna be all about Utah off-season from here on out -- all the beauty and none of the crowds!! So glad you liked the videography -- we're always worried when we're somewhere that beautiful that we're going to mess it up. ❤️
livehardxlovehard,
November is generally good in UT. Even December (I've been to Zion then). January and February are iffy.
I'm still waiting for your "Upheaval Dome" run around. It will be a VERY COOL video. Check the trail maps. No rush, but it will be a popular vid.....guaranteed. Maybe this Spring.
@@vampireslayer1989 You are right -- we definitely have to visit that crater!
@@LiveHardxLoveHard You can check out the Shafer Trail while you are out there.
Also (not a hike) but be sure to see Mesa Arch and Grandview while you are in the Park.
Another super amazing high quality video with Rad footage and editing.! You Kats always totally bring it.! Thanks for sharing.!
Thanks so much Randy! RAD is definitely the word we would use to describe Bryce Canyon! And if you ever have the chance we would highly recommend doing this route- what a way to experience the canyon!
Love your videos... Amazed by your level of conditioning and the positivity you two display. Bryce is one of my favorite places and Fairyland and Peekaboo two of my favorite trails. Great videography, great music, and a wonderful chemistry between you two make for a fun viewer experience. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Bob -- what a kind and cheery message for us to wake up to! Very happy you're enjoying the videos, and that you've already discovered the beauty of Fairyland and Peekaboo. It was our first time for both of those trails, and we were pretty overwhelmed by their beauty! ❤️
Loved, loved 🥰 it!!! Makes me want to do the same. Been there b4 but how cool to run through all that beauty! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Annette! We had been once before too, but never on either Peekaboo or Fairyland, which turned out to be our two favorites! We highly recommend doing it this way if you don't mind the distance -- honestly one of the funnest days we've ever had on trail, just because of the sheer number of natural wonders we got to be right next to in a single day. ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I plan to catch some of your other videos. To run all of Bryce looks awesome 😎 👏 what a great experience 👍🏼 to take it all in. I’m hanging onto this video for reference.
Wow! I honestly don't know why I've never been to Bryce, but you've got me convinced to go there, and in the winter as well! Bryce point was an amazing end to that - what spectacular views! (and I'd still by a CD of all your music too...)
Yessss! This is one of the coolest places anywhere in the world, and it's totally doable in a day (admittedly a long day, but still). And off-season is way better, because being in an otherworldly landscape without any crowds is the ultimate adventure dream. So glad you're still liking the music -- not sure if/when we'll have an actual CD, but we did just put two full music videos, with the complete songs, up on our Patreon, and are going to be adding another one every week or two all month!
Wow, I have seen some still photos of it, your video confirms it to be one of the most fantastic places on earth !
Yes David! After doing all the main trails, we really do think it's one of the most fantastic places on the planet. There are just so many different incredible natural wonders all in one relatively small place. We've been all around the world, and truly never seen anything like it. Hope you will get a chance to go and see it for yourself!
This is my favorite channel! I love seeing your adventures :)
Wow Mackenzie thanks so much for telling us that -- it really makes us feel happy and proud! ❤️
Bryce is one of the places I've been! So fun to see you enjoy and share those views too, especially since it seemed less precipitous than your usual adventures and snack spots...hehe
Haha glad we could take you back there, Sam. And you're right -- the thrills on this one were more of the visual than the vertiginous variety! ❤️
Amazingly beautiful place! thank you for the video!
Our pleasure, Marlon! This was one of the funnest quick trips we've ever done-- a night in Vegas, a night in a nice and inexpensive hotel right near Bryce, and then a day of adventure running in perfect weather. One day we hope to spend every weekend like that! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHardCool, next spring plan! period!
Enjoyed your video. Bryce Canyon is one of the most spectacular places on earth and a great place for a photographer or videographer.
Glad you enjoyed, and we totally agree. There is just nowhere else like it, especially off season when you can just be all alone with some of these incredible natural wonders! ❤️
I'm so glad you both went to my favorite national park in Utah!! This year we were going but we had to cancel. Thanks for sharing the trails we already know and the ones we have not yet done!! You are a great inspiration!!
Thanks Orlando! We totally see why this is your favorite. It's just incredible, and honestly hard to believe that nature created all this. Definitely hope you will do Peekaboo and Fairyland next time if you haven't done those two yet -- they were definitely our favorites! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard We have not done either Peekaboo nor Fairyland and they look majestic, strongly competing with the best places in that extraordinary park. A real treat and freedom for our imagination!! Thanks again, and go go go Elise and Adam!!
Loving all your adventures makes my bucket list get larger everyday! Living in NH we will have to make a trip out that way soon. Hardest part is choosing which one to tackle first. I’m amazed by all the switch backs! In New Hampshire switchbacks are rare. Can’t wait to see what you both do next!
That makes us so psyched to hear! It really is hard deciding what to do first when you have a limited-time trip, but Zion and Bryce are quite close together, and less than a day's drive from the Eastern Sierra where your options are limitless, so that might be our recommendation. ❤️
Wow guys great video - love to watch. we have been to bryce two times and will go back some time. now we know our top priority - the peak-a-boo - thanks for that. and see you next time, too. :-)
Yes! So glad to hear you're going to do Peekaboo trail -- it was really our favorite of all of them in terms of beautiful natural features, and it's also so much less crowded so you'll be able to get great pictures and video. You will love it!! ❤️
Wow! Absolutely beautiful!!!
Right?!? We couldn't even believe the Peekaboo trail, and Fairyland was nuts as well. We already new about the more popular trails, but Bryce is really just beautiful and surprising everywhere in the park. What a place! ❤️
What a great trip! This time, you brought back fond memories of hikes in Bryce Canyon I took with friends a few years back. Bryce is truly a beautiful and magical place! The music accompanying the video was perfect! Thanks to both of you, you're amazing!
Thanks Steve! What a great place to go with your friends -- those memories together will last forever. We're definitely planning to go back and take Elise's parents and maybe some friends as well. It's such a magical place, and now that we know the best trails we'll be able to really show them the highlights without exhausting them too much. So glad you like the music -- we're really trying to step up our game to make a few of the songs download-worthy! ❤️
Was here 2 month ago! Heaven on earth! As always you guys rock!
Yes Shaurya! We've never been anywhere that has so many incredible natural wonders packed into such a compact and easily explorable area. It is really miraculous -- so glad you got to experience it too, and at such a great time of year! ❤️
Phenomenal! Great video Elise and Adam.
Thank you! This was one of the funnest times we've had making a video -- low stress, great weather, incredible natural beauty...we're already ready to go back!
Sooooo glad you two got that in. Epic
Yes Gilbert! We felt the same way -- it was a really long drive but so, so worth it. Very glad you enjoyed it! ❤️
Great video. So amazing landscapes in Bryce Canyon and love it. Thank you for your amazing videos always.
Thanks very much. We're glad you liked the video on this one, because it was so amazing to see in person and we were really hoping to get at least some of that beauty across on the camera! ❤️
I was just there two weeks ago and it was pretty darn cold and windy - Bryce was my mom’s favorite national park and now is mine also - I am so happy you got to see it all in one trip and to share it also with us
Thanks so much, Rick! That's lovely about your mom. Every time we're in any really beautiful place, which as you know is pretty often, Adam always takes a few minutes to sit and remember his mom, who is the one who instilled in him his love of the outdoors. He feels like he's closer to her in beautiful outdoor spots than anywhere else. So glad to share this video and that feeling with you. ❤️
Second snack spot looks absolutely amazing gorgeous landscape
Oooooh yes -- this one is on our very highest recommend list. Not dangerous, super fun, and views of some of the greatest natural marvels anywhere in the world. All it takes is a bit of training to be able to hike 21 miles at high altitude, and this thing is totally do-able and totally worth it!
So incredible...amazing fitness you guys demonstrate. What a beautiful run!
Thanks very much, Don. It truly was beautiful out there -- honestly, probably the most visually impressive trail run we've done since Haleakala volcano last year. ❤️
What a great adventure! Thanks for sharing this and your joy!
Thank you so much! It was really a delight to share this one, because it's such a unique place and it's fun to either share memories of it with others or encourage them to go. This is definitely a place everyone should visit at least once in their lives, if possible. ❤️
Absolutely amazing guys 🏴
Thanks Paul! We love Bryce so much -- just went back again this winter, and it was even more amazing in the snow. Truly a natural wonder! ❤️
Beautiful! That whole place is a snack spot.
Haha Adam felt exactly the same way! We couldn't even film all of his snack spots, but suffice to say there were multiple! ❤️
Was waiting all week for this new video! It’s so relaxing and inspirational.
You guys rock!
Thanks Miguel! So glad you enjoyed this one and found it relaxing -- we honestly felt quite relaxed when doing it. The distance and elevation were challenging, of course, but the trails were so nice and easy to follow that we never worried about safety or anything -- just relaxed and enjoyed the incredible smorgasbord of natural beauty! ❤️
Cool place. Challenging run. thanks for the video n happy turkey day!!
Thanks Alex! Glad you enjoyed this one, and happy turkey day to you too (this year it will also be stuffing and pie day for us, because we'll be carbing ourselves up for a marathon the next day!) ❤️
I was there in the early 80s and yes it is beautiful and maybe one day I can go back n bring my kids n grandkids
Y'all have a blessed day 🙏
That's a great idea to bring the grandkids, John -- we were literally just talking about bringing Elise's parents because it is such a family friendly place. There's a trail for every different hiking level, and most of them could be done even carrying a little kid on the shoulders or something. ❤️
Oh my gosh, you guys made it! I was one of those that asked you if you'd please go to Bryce cause we're going in March! So amazing you 2 are and loving the music! Elise, your voice is fabulous 👌
Awesome!!! Thank you very much for convincing us to do this one. It was really one of our funnest adventures in a long time. So beautiful the whole way, and just the right amount of difficult. Loved it! ❤️ Delighted you're enjoying the music, and please let us know how Bryce is in March! Oh, and don't forget to do Peekaboo trail -- it's amazing!!!
Absolutely beautiful ‼️ I’m amazed at your photography & love your music Elise!
Thank you for sharing the fun & joy!
Thanks Debbie! You always uplift us so much with your positive support!! ❤️
You guys just gave me an idea!!
I'll add rim trail to my route 👌
Fantastic time with zero crowds!!
Yes!! That is a great idea -- the rim was wonderful, and provided a perspective on the rock formations you can't get in any other way. ❤️
Amazing! Love the Orange on Blue skylines. Every turn is a new "postacard" ...
I need to get back there sometime. Been there once, about 20 years ago.
Remember some of those scenes. Of course it took me twice as long, to see half as much.
Thanks as always for bringing these special places -- home for everyone to experience too!
Thanks James! We were saying exactly that when we were filming about the color contrast, and wondering how it would come across on camera. So happy that it translated! Also delighted we could take you back there, and hopefully give you ideas for the next time you go. If we can give one suggestion, it is to do Peekaboo trail. It's totally incredible, and from what we saw almost no one does it. It was our favorite of all the trails. ❤️
It's an incredible park for sure! The hoodoos are so intricate, it's astounding to think that these are natural rock formations. They almost look human-made at times.
Yes! It's hard to believe even when you're standing right in front of them that they aren't carved out by humans. Definitely one of the world's most amazing natural phenomena. ❤️
Ohhhh those memories all coming back!!! Amazing, what a scenery!! 😘
So glad we could bring those memories back, Eelco! And we know exactly what you mean -- even though we just did it a week ago, the memory has already started to fade and looking through the footage really brings it back for us too. It's sometimes hard for the mind to believe this place even exists, because there's nowhere else even remotely like it!
@@LiveHardxLoveHard oh man, for us it was back in 2013 on our honeymoon. In meanwhile, we got kids and everything. Still, remember those days like yesterday. Now, thanks to you I want to take my running off trail. there are beautiful woods here in the Netherlands. Zion, Bryce and Yosemite will still be there when we return in 3 years.
@@EelcoZomer We are very happy to hear that, Eelco! Trail running and hiking are such wonderful activities for the whole family. I made the tour to Bryce Canyon trail this summer. It was actually quiet narrow and steep trail. I admire you running and jumping up and down energetically. It is a great view seeing Bryce from your video again. Bryce is indeed one of the best national parks. Great video.
Thanks so much -- we're very happy you like the video, and glad you got to hike it this summer! And you're right, it does get very steep in places, but of course the views are well worth all the challenges because, like you say, it is one of the best national parks. We've honestly never seen so many incredible natural features all in one place. ❤️

Really glad you enjoyed this one -- some of the most fun we've ever had on a trip. Even the drive was fun (helped that we stayed one night in Vegas!). Hope you have a great Thanksgiving -- we're gonna carb up on stuffing and then burn it all off on some kind of crazy marathon! ❤️
10/10 for sure one of your best.
Thanks Marc! We got another huge assist from the perfect weather and lack of crowds on this one, just like on Whitney -- we're thinking that off-season hikes just might be the way to go!
WOW! I've been to Bryce a couple of times over the years, but never from this perspective. It is beautiful! Great job you two.
Thanks so much! We were exactly the same, having been there before but never seeing either Peekaboo or Fairyland. But so glad we did them this time, because those trails turned out to be our favorites of the whole thing! ❤️

I may run into you guys in Mt Diablo foothills some days, you know what I meant Elise :-). Again, great interview. Thank you!
Love the videos! You guys are troopers for completing all the major trails
Thanks Steve -- so glad you're enjoying! We were pretty stoked when we started planning this trip and realized we could do all those frontside trails in a day. And honestly, the reality far exceeded our expectations because every trail was so visually spectacular, and the less populated ones were even MORE spectacular than the more famous ones. We still can't believe it! ❤️

I don’t know how you have enough energy for the mega hikes. Love the songs, enthusiasm and taking us with you. Fyi I did Mt Baldy today. Had a great time!
Yes! Baldy is truly an all-time great hike. We've done it so often -- both ski hut and the regular way -- that we know almost every step by heart. So glad to think of you up there on such a warm, beautiful Southern California day! ❤️

@@LiveHardxLoveHard That's an awesome name for a trail! Thanks for the info good to know!
Stunning. I've hiked at Bryce but didn't realise how nice the other trails were. One thing for the future - it would be nice to see a bit of the build up to the trail as you've done in some of your videos. It just adds depth to the videos and way more interesting that just starting at the trailhead. For those that want to skip to the trail it's easy enough but I bet a bunch of people would like to see more of how the adventures unfold.
Thanks Richard, that's good to hear that you enjoy the early morning start-ups. We will definitely think about incorporating more of those into the videos because, like you say, if you enjoy it then it is quite likely that a lot of other people do as well. ❤️
Loved every minute of it....such gorgeous scenery.
Thank you -- Bryce is truly an amazing place. So glad you liked the video!!❤️
Amazing run, so beautiful, thanks for sharing your adventures…
Thank you, and it was really an honor to share this one. Sometimes a place is just so unique and beautiful that you feel like you're doing something important by sharing it, and this was definitely one of those places. ❤️
Just watched your latest video, . All those rock formations look amazing, I've never seen anything like that where I live. That's why I love watching your videos, it gives me a view of some of the beautiful and remote parts of America. Yee guys are amazing to be able to run 21 miles. Well done and thanks for another great video
Thanks so much Peter! Bryce was really such a great reminder of why the U.S. is one of the most incredible places in the world for those of us who love hiking and trail running. It has so much variety, even within the same state! We're so grateful we have the opportunity to explore here, and that we get to take you along for the adventure too!
I have been to Bryce Canyon twice. After watching your video, my wife and I will be going back there within the next 12 months. There are so many things in your video we didn't get to see. We went during the summer both times. The heat was brutally hot at the nadir of the trail. Perhaps it is better to go visit Bryce Canyon when the temperature is cooler. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration!
Yes Robert! The weather was absolutely perfect in November, as long as you bring layers (very cold in the morning, but then lovely once the sun came up). And of course there were far fewer people than in summer, especially on the more distant trails like Peekaboo and Fairyland. Can't wait to hear how you guys like those amazing trails! ❤️
Love the music in your videos.
Thanks very much, Lynn! We've really been working on our songwriting a lot this past year, and it makes us super happy that you're enjoying the songs. We've got three new songs in the works right now, so lots more music will be coming up in our videos over the next couple of months! ❤️
Awesome, as usual! Can't wait to head to Utah! The music and photography were perfect! Thanks you two!👍 Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes Tom! As you know, we are totally addicted to Utah, and it doesn't look like we'll stop going back any time soon. We're already jealous that you're going. Happy Thanksgiving!! ❤️
Awesome! I don’t know what’s more impressive; running all the trails in Bryce, or making a video without another person in it there.
Haha it was crazy, Jerry! We only passed a total of about 5 people on Peekaboo and Fairyland combined. Winter is definitely the time to do those trails. Now as for Navajo -- that was still pretty crowded, so it def got short shrift in the edit!
Not only do I love y'alls videos but the way you guys look at each other 💚💙💛 it's beautiful
Thank you, Viktoriya -- that is very sweet of you to say, and it means a lot to us. So happy you are enjoying the videos! ❤️
Сказочная атмосфера в каньоне ✅ спасибо❗️-получил огромное удовольствие во время просмотра ( вместе с Вами) 👍🙏
So glad you enjoyed it! Yes Bryce truly a natural wonder -- along with Zion, which is close to it, it is one of Utah's most beautiful attractions. ❤️
It's the Advil scene for me 🤣 Love you both!
Haha yes!!! That was our favorite scene too, Jamie, and it was also really humbling because several hardcore hikers in their 60s and even 70s were like, "I never take Advil even on 20 milers." And one person does take Advil, but only because he's doing freaking 140 mile Ironman triathlons! We definitely were reminded that there are some serious badasses who subscribe to this channel!
Just watched you do some
more running, this is Ben checking on you guys.
Today, i was watching
the Mars films by Nasa,
Immaginned both of you
running on the Planet
Mars, .......guess what,
Adam, could not finda suitable
spot for your snack time!!
You guys sure do a lot of
running. Keep safe.
My wife , when we were
young , was a good, runner
also, we competed
against each other. It
was fun. Lots of laughs.
Both of you deserve some
very good meals often,
before we have food shortages
Thank you!! Nice footage
on your video!
Keep safe! You are
helping America come out
of some very dark days.
You are blessed to be able to do all that running!
Thanks Ben! Haha we were thinking about Mars on this run, because so many parts of Bryce look like something from a different planet. That's lovely you and your wife used to race each other, and we totally agree -- being able to run these kinds of things is blessing, and one we definitely give thanks for every day. ❤️
I'm 65 and I take my first NSAIDS before I get out of bed, and then every 4-6 hrs as needed. Usually my endorphins kick in and I don't need them While I'm hiking/running at all. When it's over i'm back on the meds. I love Bryce canyon, especially off season. Thanks for the video.
That sounds perfect. We have a similar experience with running -- we always have good endorphins until we stop and take a long break, and then if we're far enough into it (12-15 miles, usually) we both start to feel the joint and foot pain big time! So glad you enjoyed the video, and that you've gotten to experience Bryce in the off season. This was our first time off season, but it certainly won't be the last! ❤️
what I like about Bryce Canyon is the gorgeous rock with trees dotted around them. had it just been rock I would have gotten bored in half a day but the trees ad just enough green to make the place beautiful!
That's really interesting, Jonathan. Elise is exactly the same way -- she gets bored quickly with barren environments, no matter how spectacular they are, but with some trees and some water she could spend weeks and never get tired of it -- hence her unending love of the Eastern Sierra. ❤️
Thank you so much for doing and filming this! 😃🙏
I think, until now, this might have been the most amazing scenery you trail-ran in - at least to me 😉
I love Bryce - it feels like being on Mars - now I am even looking more forward to visit it for the second time next year!
Take care and stay safe ❤️
Thanks so much, Andre! We actually agree with you on that -- we've honestly never been in a place with so many natural wonders as Bryce. It feels like a movie set, or like another planet or something. It's utterly mind blowing that it all occurred naturally! ❤️
Fantastic, my friends !! I love Bryce !!! :-)
Thanks Petr! We see why you love it -- the number of natural wonders there is just incredible. ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Yes and the most beautiful is in the morning light shortly after sunrise. :-)
@@petr-podrouzek Totally agree.
Thanks for taking us on your run!
Our pleasure, Damian -- it is so fun for us to share adventures in crazy beautiful places like this! ❤️
Hey Adam and Elise! It's been a minute since I checked in! I've been forced back to the office, so free time has been scarce with marathon training peaking as well. Glad I caught this video! Amazing amazing! Keep it up!
Thanks Paul! We're in exactly the same boat -- work has been brutal for both of us lately, and between that and our weekend warrior adventures we have basically zero free time. But we do intend to fully catch up on your marathon quest -- really hoping you crush your audacious goal time!! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I'm just trying to drop weight and praying for cold weather on race day! LOL! Keep pushing guys!
You two are insane, I'm so glad that I found your channel 👍💪💪
Thanks Travis -- we're very glad you did too! It always gets us so pumped and motivated when people get excited about these adventures, and you are great like that! ❤️
Awesome video, I must plan a trip to this park sometime soon! Absolutely incredible 😍
Yes Nicole! And this is the perfect time, because it is so much less crowded in the off-season, yet still equally beautiful!! ❤️
Hello Adam and Elise!! Firstly, awesome music, Elise! It definitely is an awesome supplement to your two's videos and narration!
Wow....Bryce Canyon is truly a world treasure! Thank you very much for sharing another grand experience!
Advil....are you kidding me??? It's 800mg Motrin! We called it Ranger Candy in the army.
And....Happy Thanksgiving to you two!
PS. Side note....I am still stuck on the thought of prusiking my dog up half dome!! I really look forward to doing that, at some point.
PPSS. The red rock really accents Adam's hue as he enjoys a snack!
Haha we can't wait to see that, Alan! Picture/video of the two of you going up would be the most adorable thing ever. Meanwhile, glad you like the music on this one -- we're getting a couple of those songs ready to make downloadable. And Happy Thanksgiving! See you on the other side, when we're running somewhere fully carbed up with stuffing and gravy! ❤️
Great adventure and video.
Thanks Michael -- very glad you enjoyed it! We had a great time on this one: not too scary, just long and steep enough to be a real challenge, and non-stop beauty the whole way. Ideal!
Hey guys, I always look forward to your videos, so when I started up my laptop the notification for this new one popped up and I clicked on it immediately! Bryce is another one of my favorite places, with such otherworldly beauty unmatched anywhere on the planet. I was there once about 20 years ago and have always wanted to go back. Once again, you deserve high praise for your photography! You totally captured the spirit of the place. Next time I go I will plan on doing a run. PS - I am 61 and I always take 2 or 3 ibuprofen tablets BEFORE a trail run. Joints pain does become an issue with age!
Thanks David! Very glad to hear that you take some Ibuprofen for your runs -- we were getting a little freaked out by so many people telling us they don't even need it! Given the creakiness we both already have in our joints, it's pretty clear that we'll also be pre-gaming with Advil by the time we're 61. But that's okay -- just like you, we'll still be out there and that's all that matters! You should def go back to Bryce, and try to do it offseason if you can -- we had so much fun getting the trails pretty much all to ourselves! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard I am convinced that running, especially trail running, can strengthen joints into the 50's, 60,s, and beyond, in addition to phenomenal fitness benefits. But everyone is different, and you can't run the same way at 60 as you can at 30. Meaning, priorities shift from speed and being very aggressive, to avoiding injury. And I am also convinced that it is critical to maintain a low bodyweight as we get older. This has been a problem for me. I got very heavy and ended up with major tendonitis in my right Achilles tendon. I lost about 35 pounds, and more than two years later it is finally healed to the point where I am cautiously running again. So far so good, but I really need to come down about 20 more pounds to be really safe. Trail running again at my age, and after this layoff, is wonderful and I am appreciative and grateful for every minute I out there! And I can't tell you both how much your videos motivate and inspire me!
@@davidparker1746 Totally agree with all of the above. Adam's dropped about 20 lbs in the last few years, and it's really helped with the joint pain. So glad we can all keep each other motivated!❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard Bryce is high on my list! Right now, a 4.5 mile run (like I did this morning) is a sufferfest! The Ibuprofen helps. Looking forward to 10 mile - 20 mile trail runs again in a few months, if things keep going this well. Thanks for the encouragement!
Wow very cool, nothing like that in so cal. I did manage to get santiago peak done last weekend but that doesn't seem so impressive after seeing the views at Brcye Cyn. Stunning !, i see a road trip in my future. Thanks for sharing.
Haha ya Andrew, there's nothing we've ever seen that can quite compare to Bryce visually. With that said, though, Santiago Peak is a serious hike! 17 miles with over 4000 of vertical? Nice! Pretty similar to the 21 miles and 3300 feet we did at Bryce. So you're ready for it, and we think you should road trip it out and do our same route! Or at least the Queen's Garden -- Peekaboo -- Fairyland part, which was amazing! ❤️
@@LiveHardxLoveHard It appears there are a number of routes to Santiago Peak. I took a shorter route starting at Trabuco creek road up to Joplin Trail to the ropes section up to main divide road. I took the longer way back because i was concerned about slipping coming down the rope section and i was alone. This route was 13.8miles 4780 elevation gain. 16.5 miles if you skip the steeper ropes section and just take Joplin trail up to main divide road. I was planning to do this hike after we got a bit of snow, i think it would be really nice then. I am improving but this was hard and i took Sunday off to relax / recover lol. The hike wasn't planned, Ortega hwy was closed so i needed a plan b, it just happened.
love this place. doesn't get the love it deserves. gotta tell us when your music becomes available!
Totally agree Thaddee -- this place is a natural miracle!! And will definitely tell you when we put the songs out!! ❤️
Incredible as always! Elise your music is phenomenal and always adds so much while watching yours and Adam's epic journeys!
My favorite channel on UA-cam! You two are such a beautiful couple and radiate true authentic Good Vibes and positive energy! (I have to ask why run sooo close to the edges??) 😲 I start sweating everytime I watch that on every episode-and almost can't watch! - I guess it's the momma me and now after watching so many episodes, I've come to love you two lol! 😄 Be safe out there and thank you for sharing your amazing experiences! ✨️😇
Thanks Lorina! Really happy you're enjoying the music, and don't worry about those edges -- the camera probably makes us look closer to the edge than we actually are when we're running. You can tell if the edge is actually dicey, like some of those knife edges in the Alps and Dolomites, because we'll be walking with our arms out for balance rather than running! ❤️
Another awesome trek you two. I haven't been to Bryce yet, I've been in the area though. To be honest, I'll be 45 next month and I don't take anything ever, that's not to say I don't feel my hikes lol. Keep up the great videos. I'm headed out on a hike near where I live which is right near Mt. Elbert here in Colorado. I'll be doing an overnighter before the snow sets in for the season. I look forward to your next video.
Thanks Douglas! We've been seriously feeling inspired by how many of you guys just tough out the soreness -- we need to up our stoicism game. Meanwhile, an overnighter up there sounds absolutely beautiful -- have a great time!!
Breathtaking. I have never scene Bryce displayed so beautifully. When I was there it was packed. This is a whole other experience.
Wow thanks so much Shirlee, that seriously means a lot to us! And yes, you do have to make some tradeoffs going in winter months (colder and less predictable weather, certain trail closures) but we felt like those minor drawbacks were MAJORLY worth it. It really felt magical to be there essentially all alone. Would definitely recommend considering going for an autumn/winter adventure! ♥️
Awesome, so beautiful
Thanks Felice! We were blown away by this place! ❤️
This looks amazing. The quality of footage is so good 😳
Thanks Kexin! It really was amazing there. We've never seen so many different natural wonders all in once place before. ❤️
