Anyone out there with an abusive childhood?
Please consider my words in prior comments.
I really hope Mr Radd takes them to heart also.
We're all victims of this machine (Hollywood) that right now grows worse in Social Media simply because we largely ignore how our reality (abuse-filled youth) and their fantasy (horror films) are one in the same.

So ya know Norrin, it took me 40+ years to recognize how deep the West Coast manipulation truly delves and I promise you would not believe me if I could share what I've learned since just by psychologically putting together the picture of my movie experiences and memories.
    No "conspiracy theory" here.
    Nothing but truth brother!!

Funny I'm talking about child killers while Darth Vader's mask looks down.
Our onscreen heroes are more than a little "Sus".

I’ve heard some people say this is the best one in the series.

It was the most entertaining to us then because it BRIEFLY empowers severely distressed teens.
Too bad the really important context involved was overshadowed by so many stupid one-liners.
Oh yeah, hair metal fiends also loved Don Dokken's title track.
The Dream Warriors actually are abstract reflections of a punk crew shown in Return of the Living Dead.
All wannabe badasses, quickly dispatched by HHH.
      The Hollywood Horror Horde.

To better detail how Elm Street and Return of the Living Dead are connected... Krueger's very first vic was named Tina.
A pair of lovebirds in the zombie film are named...FREDDY and TINA

Patricia Arquette is fantastic as Kristen Parker and Dokken Dream Warriors kick ass. 😀👍🎸🤘

Oh yeah, the drug addict in this film who gets 'fixed' by Fred before another stupid one-liner "What a rushhh!", kinda makes me think of Rorshach's Watchmen '09 journal dialogue pertaining to..."heroin and child pornography".
Also, Haley dons a similar LITTLE hat in an '83 Tom Cruise film, 'Losin It'.

    Question:
In 2024 when so many young people are suffering daily from abusive and traumatic events during childhood, why are people still ignoring the fact that these films (4 decades ago) laid the groundwork???
    Example...
The poor girl burning herself to stay awake (self harm), is brutally killed yet the line "Welcome to primetime b*tch!" still makes fans laugh?!?!
    Pretty fkn backwards.
Thankfully I completely outgrew all of that crap after serving 17 years ('92-'09) for dispatching a pedo just after turning 19.
Only violent crime I've ever committed.
    Yeah...Freddy rules!! 🤔

      Correction:
I turned 19 a few weeks after my crime.

I wonder how many Gen Z fanboys know that 'Strongman' Kincaid IRONICALLY appears in an MCU film as a Physical Therapist??
    'Doctor Strange'.
