After watching hundreds of your videos I finally broke down and bought the Predator Hurricane which has the same configuration of shovel but a tad longer T handle.
After watching an earlier video you made about the Phoenix shovel I bought the Hurricane which is the same blade as the Phoenix but has a longer T handle. Great shovel.
They were out of stock due to problems getting the paint in (I emailed them and got a prompt reply back a couple of days ago). They actually have the Phoenix in stock. As of right now, it's available (apparently they received their paint in) Cost is $89.95 and if you want the footpads, they are $15 each, so that's $30 total on that. Shipping via priority mail is $27. Total=$146.95
great video! would the spartan be a better choice because of its narrow design on hard soil with roots .ive heard that detectorist like the spartan becayin those conditions the phoenix would cut through easy.have you tried both in those conditions? thanks
I had the Spartan and it did not make pretty plugs at all. Nothing can beat the Phoenix. I have many different models of Predator Tools shovels, The Phoenix is just MAGIC!!
I scratched a Walking Liberty half dollar with my predator shovel. It was my fault and I learned quickly about digging my plug bigger. I was heart sick when I noticed I scratched it. i wouldn't trade my predator for all the rest of them on the market.
I purchased a Predator Phoenix. Great tool. I can dig a nice plug in no time. If you buy one you won't regret it.
Love my Phoenix shovel. You should get a commission from predator tools because your the reason I bought a Phoenix !
I have the “Hurricane”. I bought it over the Phoenix because I’m 6’2” and it’s taller. Love it!

The predator tools hurricane has the same blade as the Phoenix. The difference is the hurricane is 3" longer and has a t handle

Heck yea no other shovel can compete with the Phoenix or the hurricane. Both has the same exact blade on them
