Yeah it's said that 70% to 90% of all divorces are initiated by women. And survey has also shown that women look for men higher in status than them. Meanwhile men look for women with a lower status than them. It's human nature for men to want to be the provider and for women to want to be provided for. A few decades of feminism isn't going to change the way humans have thought for millions of years.
@LJW1912 Pew Research, Institute for Family Studies, Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research, dozens of others. Women show a marked preference for men who earn more than themselves. Why are women so threatened by men who take a more domestic role? 😂
If my wife started making more than me, I would either invest the money in starting new ventures to grow our wealth, or work in some sort of support capacity in her business to compound on her success. It’s a win, any way you slice it. The important thing is for the kids to have consistent access to both their parents. So I would focus on running the business from home, so that the work-life balance will just be a life-life balance.
No wonder men like you get teased by wife's 🐂. Get a grip . When you were struggling was she the one taking so much stress about how could she help you ? Its never our wealth . It's always her money and your wealth is family's money .
It is a funny video; however, many men have shared their stories online about how their ex-wives dumped them as soon as they started earning more than their husbands.
Right! I think some men are very threatened when their spouse is more successful than them, and some women become very disdainful once they achieve more “success” than their spouse.
@dwightdunkley I don't think a man should feel threatened by such things. At the end of the day, there are 4 billion women out there. If a woman abandons a guy because he is earning less than her, then the man can always find another woman.
@JMMavulule loads of men need to learn how to become more selective. Relationships nowadays are mostly superficial. Therefore, it is important to foster a Christian-centered life to help avoid these relationship traps.
As a working class man, I would love to have a wife who provide if not more. I have no shame, only need segg, money and loyalty and to hell with the rest
@@اسكندرفكار You do realise that you'd need to be more caring than her if she's the main provider? Obviously, both need to be caring, but you'd need to take care of the house, the food, and so on, while she earns the money. If you both work, you should split the household fairly of course.
It's unfortunate not satire, though. SO MANY men are like this. My dad was like this. He couldn't stand that my mom was way more successful than him. He fought her tooth and nail because he didn't want us to move into a house that he couldn't afford. We moved anyway and he was embarrassed when people he knew from work found out where he lived because obviously he hadn't bought the house. When my mom finally got sick of it and divorced him she had to give him a lot of money and he was constantly telling everyone how his lifestyle was being financed by her because she kept the house (that she had bought and paid for).
@@ccheyenne It is reality, but Content Machine are still mocking men being insecure about women being successful. So it is either satire or social commentary of this reality.
When I was going to college there was a running joke about the nursing students that were mainly female. The joke was that 80% of them would dump their husbands/bf as soon as they graduated and it was true. For most of them the guys paid for their schooling. It’s pretty sad and every year they proved it true.
This is true about many women across many fields, in many cultures. But what is the conclusion? If you love a girl, make a baby, she can't run away then. You are welcome for this awesome advice.
No, women don't mind if they make more. I didn't mind when I made more than my husband. The problem is that MOST (not all) men are insecure about it and therefore are not willing to pick up the skack in other areas (cooking, cleaning, childcare etc) so women get frustrated with having to make money AND do everything else to run the household. As long as both people contribute in their own way and both people are secure in their role, it doesn't matter who makes the money.
Lmao that's true, not too long ago a woman filed for a divorce because she became a lawyer and her husband was a security guard or something, shit was sad.
Yeah, it's because they're usually financially trapped in marriages with a man that's a terrible partner, or the man does what they're alluding to in this skit.
That's because men only provide them financially, maybe those husbands are kind of men that never do chores around the house because they're "tired of working 9 to 5". So as soon as their wives had financial stability, there's literally no reason to stay😂
It surely depends you know, but we can assume that people might have been in relationships they were unhappy with but incapable of leaving due to financial insecurity
Nah many won't care. Also, your wife making 2x as much is no excuse to not work hard and be a man. You still need to be a good example of a man to your children 🙂
Here is the point in a nutshell. If a man makes that amount, he has no issue buying anything for his woman. If a woman makes that much, she'll look for someone making as much as her.
Nah this isn't even a little bit true. Most men nowadays would be fine with their wives earning more money; it's the woman who starts resenting the man and treating him like crap.
No, it's the man that doesn't understand the constant nagging in the first place about her having to do all the domestic duties until she makes more money than he does. Then, he hears it, changes nothing, and uses that as the excuse for her leaving.
In all seriousness, though, this is my big fear when getting married. I make a very handsome salary, and I'm deathly scared that I'll marry someone who is insecure if he's not the breadwinner.
I really have no idea why that would matter. Not once have a concerned myself with the amount of money my partner earns. I'm freaking disabled. Everyone earns more money than me. My dating pool would literally only be homeless people if I thought that way.
I’d be fine with it, but every woman in those interviews says they want their man to make more than them. She would have to accept that anytime we go out it’s on her dime, she would obviously be paying all the bills, and my gifts might not be as extravagant as hers.
@@solar0windData shows most wives earn less than their husbands. And a myriad of interviews show women want their guys earning at least 6 figures. As usual, women are the problem in this case, not men.
@@solar0windThe kind i see in these shorts all the time, and yes they are almost certainly selected to validate biases and drive engagement. As for being representative, all I can say is that in my limited experience I don’t know any (straight) couples in which the woman is the primary breadwinner (especially by that wide a margin). Everyone I know is either roughly equal, or the man earns more. And that’s IF the woman has a job at all outside being a homemaker (no disrespect, but we are talking about dollars brought in.
I wouldn't trust interview shorts if my life depended on it. Someone has to have a pretty scud view of reality to truly all the women in these interviews are serious. It's meant for getting clicks after all...
@@solar0wind There are literally thousands of surveys about what women look for in a man and income is always top 3, we're not making this shit up, women by and large, do not like to date down when it comes to income.
While this is funny the reality is that successful women seek out more successful men. They date up on average. That's why you see lawyers date their secretary or doctors dating nurses but virtually never female lawyers date their male secretary or female doctors date male nurses.
This social practice has a name. Patriarchy. It is behind the gender roles, that men should be the providers and women caregivers. Stupid shit. Before you jump up and down, notice how men and women both adhere to Patriarchy because it has something for each side. Problem is, whenever someone is trying to break away from the stereotype, they get discouraged by the society at large, often by playing men vs women cards. There is no men vs women here, just plain simple stupidity.
Yeah the truth of this skit is 2 years down the track she’s making demands on why he’s not successful. Woman by and large are more comfortable when a man earns more. It’s just nature. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t work for some, but the majority 🧐
I used to earn way more than my husband. He switched work and now makes way more than me. I like it a lot better this way. It's awesome being taken care of. 🥰
I'm not a fan of the "high value man" stuff. But something some of them get right is that is the woman who wants a more successful partner even if they are successful themselves. That's why successful women tend to be single, because they want a man that can top them. I don't even think successful women are wrong for wanting that, but misrepresenting the issue doesn't help.
I’m a SAHM, my kid is too young to go to school, and my biggest fantasy is me coming home after work, dressed all fancy, and my husband is waiting for me by the door with an apron on, a glass of wine in his hand, and hot dinner on the table. I told my husband about it and said “hope you’ll be ok with me providing”, he replied “can’t wait, gonna clean and play Xbox all day”
Literally gaslighting. A large percentage of women will literally switch up or leave after this. I literally dated a woman who got a big promotion right before getting divorced. Propaganda
I mean, the cost-of-living crisis is so bad I’d happily encourage my fiancé to take any promotion she gets. Screw “who earns more,” we *both* will have to earn more the way these housing prices are getting. Holy moly.
@ if you mean that the video is a joke, I know, I was just giving my position about the topic. On the other hand, if you ask if my comment is sarcastic, it is not. I like people that are great and successful, someone who knows how to figure out life is something not pretty common in today’s era of wasting money, time, and looking for low effort pleasure.
@@MrMrjugador that's awesome. I'm glad there are men who appreciate career women. @Gamedres95"Uumm, it's satire, so it should be wrong" Nope. They're off the mark here. While they're not wrong about man become insecure, the more likely thing that will happen is the woman divorce the man.
@winexhd9373 sometimes it is the woman who rather resents that she earns more because he won't be able to buy her gifts she likes, etc when she goes out and sees successful men or with friends married to successful men she feels jealous and out of place because a man is to 'provide' for his family. Happened to my uncle
My friends who were medical students had a tough time dating men. It was not money, but men also get intimidated by educated women. As soon as they heard, they were doctors, they made excuses.
I think it's just the men they were finding. Men really don't care about stuff like that as much as people think. I think media likes to push this idea that men want obedient and subservient women, but that's not true.
Is it possible, now hear me out, is it possible they’ve been told by other men and women that they’re losers because they only make, say 100k, so when they hear about you being more successful, they’re programmed to subconsciously self sabotage? Just throwing that out there. Not trying to blame anyone nor make an is-ought fallacy. Just asking for a friend. Don’t hurt me. 😂
Who are these men? What a strange mindset to have. Having a partner than can provide for herself and only wants to be with me because she loves me?... oh wait. I already have one. We are very happy together. She's great. I wish you the best of luck ladies.
Statistically this is actually true. Women who make more than their partners overwhelmingly initiate separation, and remain separated. This is an objectively true phenomenon.
Because the men camt handle it and start treating her badly. Like the Arizona stay at home dad whos wife was a doctor and he was so anxious to play video games he left the 2 year old in the car on purpose because he didnt want her to wake up because then hed have to care for her. Baby di3d
Yes, Comedy. Funny ❤ Also, when my now ex-fiance briefly earned slightly more than me she got really pissy about it and dumped me. We were both teachers. I then set up my own business and earn many times what I did then 😊😂😅
Ah the cycle of ego at its finest it's starts small then she'll want more until the point where she's alone nobody wants her and she has thousands of cats at her home
It is mostly the other way around: Women always want to date a more successful man. If they are very successful, then the pool of men where they can choose, gets really narrow.

Of course, the man isn’t always the problem. But it’s unfair to always place all the blame on the women without addressing the full context
@ I kno it’s nuanced but I’m just warning all these women that think it’ll be bliss when it’s statistically not. But it will def cause the wife to change how she sees her husband
Divorce statistics show that she would be the one having a problem with making more. 😅

@@LJW1912 divorce statistics
Yeah it's said that 70% to 90% of all divorces are initiated by women. And survey has also shown that women look for men higher in status than them.
Meanwhile men look for women with a lower status than them. It's human nature for men to want to be the provider and for women to want to be provided for. A few decades of feminism isn't going to change the way humans have thought for millions of years.
@@LJW1912
Naaa it’s a normal thing. If the wife makes like 5x more than the husband than yeah, the husband will get a little settlement.
Brilliant 🎉
No wonder men like you get teased by wife's 🐂. Get a grip . When you were struggling was she the one taking so much stress about how could she help you ?
Its never our wealth . It's always her money and your wealth is family's money .
That’s a good man. 🙏🏻
It’s the opposite, women don’t want men who don’t make as much or more than them.
$750000 a year, damn. Do it lady!
First: I like my women to be on top sometime.
Second: if she is successful, I am as happy for her as she is for me.
No need for insecurities.
You forgot the part where she starts to look down on you.
It’s also because statistically women do want a man who earns more than them, so as they earn more, the pool decreases
Wow NPC love is wild
@JMMavulule loads of men need to learn how to become more selective. Relationships nowadays are mostly superficial. Therefore, it is important to foster a Christian-centered life to help avoid these relationship traps.
@Luca-km3pq I'm 27 attractive woman virgin I'm very selective and secretive and only get a long with very few humans and my circle very tight.
As a working class man, I would love to have a wife who provide if not more.
I have no shame, only need segg, money and loyalty and to hell with the rest
Thanks for speaking out my mind ❤
If your wife is gonna be the main provider you do realize you'll be the one doing all the cleaning and cooking
Me too
Same..... I don't care how much she makes if she is loyal and caring to me
@@اسكندرفكار You do realise that you'd need to be more caring than her if she's the main provider? Obviously, both need to be caring, but you'd need to take care of the house, the food, and so on, while she earns the money. If you both work, you should split the household fairly of course.
This is why I love y'all's videos. It's my favorite type a satire!
The joke was that 80% of them would dump their husbands/bf as soon as they graduated and it was true. For most of them the guys paid for their schooling. It’s pretty sad and every year they proved it true.
That’s so sad. No wonder, I noticed nurses flirting with doctors and even married ones too. They would wear expensive tight clothes and make up.

@@endersgameoverWell you don't know much if you think this video is false
No, women don't mind if they make more. I didn't mind when I made more than my husband. The problem is that MOST (not all) men are insecure about it and therefore are not willing to pick up the skack in other areas (cooking, cleaning, childcare etc) so women get frustrated with having to make money AND do everything else to run the household. As long as both people contribute in their own way and both people are secure in their role, it doesn't matter who makes the money.
For sure, women become more masculine and start acting like dudes
My husband would be ecstatic. He'd quit his job the next day and become a househusband. LOL
I read somewhere that a lot of divorce are applied by women the moment they started earning more than their husband. 😂
Lmao that's true, not too long ago a woman filed for a divorce because she became a lawyer and her husband was a security guard or something, shit was sad.
Yeah, it's because they're usually financially trapped in marriages with a man that's a terrible partner, or the man does what they're alluding to in this skit.
@amirahmad2099 It really is, stop consuming content that makes you think women are any different from men.
Insecure people will drag even their best friend down with them
The funniest thing is that this is true for many men
I'm afraid some men are gonna take this video seriously and live with this message close to the heart, funny video tho
Nah many won't care.
Also, your wife making 2x as much is no excuse to not work hard and be a man. You still need to be a good example of a man to your children 🙂
Those who are gonna take it seriously already do.
Nah this is 100% a fact, women need to always make sure their Man makes more money. Or else women will end up leaving said Man.
@nickkantor94 im sure even jobless women make more than you buddy
a 30 second video is not changing someone's worldview. The men who already think like this will continue to, and the men who don't, won't
Bro really pulled out the Dhar Mann "so you see" 💀
Here is the point in a nutshell.
If a man makes that amount, he has no issue buying anything for his woman.
If a woman makes that much, she'll look for someone making as much as her.
Aweee❤ He obviously cares about her so much.😊
Nah this isn't even a little bit true.
She should 100% dump him
Toxic relationship are never healthy
If my wife would make 750.000 a year, i would just quit my job and be a stay at home dad/butler/plaything.
I was waiting for the big CANCELED sign in the end😅😂
In all seriousness, though, this is my big fear when getting married. I make a very handsome salary, and I'm deathly scared that I'll marry someone who is insecure if he's not the breadwinner.
You yourself would leave him if he didn't earned enough
Don't worry this topic will surely come up before marriage!

In what interviews? Are the women/responses in them cherry-picked or representative for the wider society?

While this is funny the reality is that successful women seek out more successful men. They date up on average.
That's why you see lawyers date their secretary or doctors dating nurses but virtually never female lawyers date their male secretary or female doctors date male nurses.
Men go for beauty, women go for power.
Absolutely

It’s a skit but it’s the truth 🥲

Is it possible, now hear me out, is it possible they’ve been told by other men and women that they’re losers because they only make, say 100k, so when they hear about you being more successful, they’re programmed to subconsciously self sabotage? Statistically this is actually true. Women who make more than their partners overwhelmingly initiate separation, and remain separated. This is an objectively true phenomenon.
Because the men camt handle it and start treating her badly. Like the Arizona stay at home dad whos wife was a doctor and he was so anxious to play video games he left the 2 year old in the car on purpose because he didnt want her to wake up because then hed have to care for her. Baby di3d
