I was there four days ago, and I made sure to buy plenty for my family in New York. Allan Benton is as friendly and gracious in the shop as he is in this video. A fine gentleman, and an impossibly good product.
Spent my summers as a kid eating Benton bacon. The company is in Vonore, TN and I have a cabin up on Citico Creek right up the road. Many a day my mamaw cooked up some Bentons, eggs and biscuits with redeye gravy.
We just received our Bentons whole Hickory Smoked Ham and like 4 or 5 packs of bacon! I thought my husband was crazy because he bought so much for the Coronavirus stay home season lol. But I smelled it and BAM! It smells so good and looks great! I’m waiting for my hubs to get home before we try it but I can’t wait:) He said something about if we ever lost electric this is what he’d buy for us to eat.
Blackberry Farms was one of produce stops back in the day man they would have some huge orders and they demanded fine quality fruits and veggies and rightfully so excellent place to eat and have an event............
You will be truly blessed if you are lucky enough to eat this bacon or ham. You will think you died and went to heaven. Luckily you will still be alive and will be able to eat it again.

Payday is next friday - I may have to make a roadtrip down to Madisonville.
The best BLT's are when I make them with Benton's Bacon!!
