    Love this tutorial! Working my way through each scale one by one and getting so much more comfortable with proper fingering and remembering each scale by heart. So far, I've worked my way through F major left and right hand. Gonna keep practicing a little more before I move on to the # and b major scales. Thank you for the awesome job you've done teaching us.

    I can thank you enough for this. A month ago i didn't know any scales on piano. Today i learned the Bb Maj to finish off the video! I can now play all 12 major scales in two octaves with both hands at the same time!
    Playing with both hands was the hardest part for me and it literally took a week of practice before i could do it. I didn't think i'd be able to. I spent a week on the C scale alone.
    But after that it got easier and easier.
    I'm so happy! Thanks, Warren, for all you do! 💯

      Some times it just clicks!! First run of this video it All went over my head. Took me to get the piano out to understand an even now it feels like I'm a long way off. Would be nice to see what notes are involved in the major an minor chords as the numbers are helpful but I can't see which keys are pressed! Stil great video and hope you have progressed further.

    Thank you, Warren. Lovely: "You don't want to practice anxiety." I love it.
    I have just taken my first piano lesson in 58 years! I am very surprised to be back at lessons and also amazed at how much my body does remember. Piano is taught differently now, though, and your words sum it up. Slowly and without anxiety.
    Thanks for the advice about practicing scales. I am practicing Eb--slowly and without anxiety--but haven't yet put the two hands together. I can see that it will help to pause at the cross overs when I feel ready to try this. Just reviewed your major scale fingerings video, too. Thank you again. Such a support to my learning!

    You are a gifted teacher Warren. I’m brand new to your videos, I happened upon them on accident this morning and so glad I did.
    I went to your website and signed up for your 3 day trial and will devour as much info as I can process.
    After being injured in Iraq and retiring from military, I found myself with lots of time. My wife bought me a guitar and I spent the last few years playing it lots and have gotten pretty decent. As a surprise for Christmas she told me that she got me a Roland Keyboard Synthesizer to learn a new instrument. The goal will be to eventually also have some e-drums as well and be decent at em all.
    Anyhow I’ve been exploring different teaching sites online and had been contemplating playground sessions. However, I’m gonna give your trial a go and I believe you may be a better fit for me and how I learn.
    I like worship music so I also study guitar and eventually other instruments at a site called worship artistry. But they assume you already know how to play in order to really play all the song lessons.
    Anyhow keep up the good work.

    Thank you. I was looking for this because I found it difficult to continue to have my thumb on b flat when I was playing F major scale. This helps alot.
    So I guess there is only 4 fingering rules on playing major scale:
    1. avoid thumbs on black keys;
    2. try to land on octaves with the most comfortable finger just to continue on;
    3. find the most comfortable/natural pivot finger when switching to thumb.
    4. only use pinky when it feels natural.

      Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I stopped numbered the videos as there not connected. So it doesn’t really matter what order you go through them.

    to summarize the white keys, C,D,E,G,A are all 123,12345 or 54321,321 with both hands depending on which direction you're moving. B is still the same for RH and F is still the same for LH, but B for LH and F for RH both use 1234,1234 or 4321,4321 simply to avoid the awkwardness of putting the thumb up on a black key

    Thank You, Thank You,,,, great approach to jump on the band wagon,,,,, of course, with some good ears, all note scales in sequence help you learn the foundations for readily grasping the progressions, to achieve classical composition,,,,,,,
