the "glitch" is switching from the glass to the gun/bow ... it simulates a shot heard only by the animal for some reason and its about the most annoying random glitch there is
Awesome hog!!! I play on console and no matter my perks I can't get quiet enounough to stalk hunt or even tree stand hunt. I would love to bow hunt all animals but impossible on console.

Heres a tip: If the animal you're tracking has a drink time, and you cant find the animal, change to their drink time and search the nearby lakes.

if you have a backpack on that is the cause because i was using one and when i took it off i was able to get closer

When the game gives us so many chances with resets, the hunt isn't that great
