Haaa This video been up since 2016 with not 1 negative comment or dislike. Someone posts 1 bad video of his vocals being all over the place and now I am getting all the negative comments and people disliking this video. Its too funny yall let the man be. He has put out some good music. We all have bad days.

@BKS Photographs, the audience was singing with him. They threw him off, so I think he tried to change it up. Then, those backup singers... They were all dragging the song. I am surprised he finished it without stopping it and starting over. Wow... They were really off key. It’s obvious he can sing.
Hands down my favorite artist to ever do it. And what better song, than "love"? AND THE FACT THAT HE'S SPEAKING TO GOD THROUGH THIS SONG AND NOT A WOMAN... IS ASTOUNDING.

He f'ed up the song! Just admit it! I stopped listening to his live performances because he always f's them up! He's only had 2 good, live performances in his life!
This was pretty good. I can hear where he pushed through one or two falsetto notes. The thing is sometimes when we know we are not operating at full capacity its very much okay to drop it to a lower key and stay within that range. There is not a singer living or have lived that has not had off days vocally. He is one of my most favorite male vocalists and certainly one of the best ever. He jumps scale like nobody's business so that part is not ever a question. Im just glad that he didn't retire like he said he was. We already suffer enough from the R&B drought lol

This was an excellent performance. I remember when I lived in NYC and worked right above the J&R Music World Store. They had a free Musiq Soulchild concert later that evening. Musiq did a soundcheck earlier in the day and performed "Love". He killed it!!!!

These comments are crazy.. he is a vocal beast. Did he make mistakes? Yes .. because he is imperfect like us all.. he does hundreds of shows. That’s a lot on your vocal chords. I heard him live before and he was amazing . This was an off night for him, and he still did some really nice things in this performance.

@jaslenelove7008 I've been saying studio singer for years and even last night.😂 Love his music and lyrics, which are awesome. Personally, I have been in the music industry over 40 years and heard many great singers live and know the difference between great and good singers. He is a good singer that works better in controlled studio environment where he can take his time and the engineers can craft a good sound on his voice. I agree this is definitely one of his best vocal performances except the falsetto which has always been his issue live.😮 I was jamming his studio albums last night 👍🏾🔥

My absolute favorite song because he is singing to love about love!
Nobody is perfect and that's true, but the difference in being a professional singer and amateur singer is they make very little mistake if any at all. We wouldn't pay a doctor, mechanic, plumber, contractor to do a job and they messed something up and we said they just had a bad day. A doctor's bad days can cause someone to lose their life. A plumber, electrician or contractor having a bad day could destroy your house and you wouldn't want to pay them. Let's keep this in the proper perspective. When you're a recording artist and people buy your music and pay lot of money to go see yout perform, they don't want excuses or to see you have a bad day. Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and legendary artists like that didn't have room for excuses or bad days. Their careers depended upon them being perfect or the best all the time. Hopefully these performances by Musiq Soulchild are not the norm, but I've seen a few that wasn't not good. Anyway, he has some awesome songs and music.

He has a very nice tone...hopefully he has a vocal coach that can teach him different techniques because his transitions, runs and falsetto could use some help. I love the recorded version of his songs way better than his live performances...too many runs and too many flat notes...we're all a work in progress...keep pushin' Musiq you're still a star!

I just saw him live yesterday and i had to leave after the 3rd song. He was so bad it broke my heart. Shit made me have an existential breakdown right there. That was the second time my mom saw him and says he needs to just give it up.

Overall he's a great performer and amazing voice but you sometimes as a vocalist have off days .
There is definitely something wrong and unhealthy with his voice nowadays. Most performers are able to do back to back shows without their voices getting this bad.

Some of the best vocal coaches don't sing professionally, and most talent scouts for sports--NEVER played sports!. You just know when you hear it, see it, ect ect. I started working at 14 for interscope records doing promotions, artist packaging, and became a supervisor by 15 and a 1/2. I've been a music manager, and I was signed in the entertainment industry for 9 years heavy. You need a friggin resume ?
