He ain't lying, prison will really mess you up mentally. My dad went to prison for attempted murder in Detroit in 1993 & he got out in 2005. He's been a monster ever since & I have no relationship with him because of that.

Speak to them! I got a homeboy 16 years in on a 75 year sentence in Maryland for robbery/murder. He regrets the day he pulled that trigger every single day. Keep feeding the streets!💯💯 He also lost his appeal
Very, very, good speech and deterrence! To piggy back what you spoke on about the juveniles getting life sentences then finally getting them overturned after 4 or 5 decades. I have an older cousin of mine here in Philly, whom during the gangwar day's of the 70's (early) comitted a murder at 16. Lo and behold, he was given NATURAL LIFE! Here in Pa NATURAL LIFE means exactly such!! No parole, no whatever. So, due to him being a juvenile when he committed this crime the laws and books were looked at and revamped. However, it took virtually 50 year's!!! He JUST GOT OUT TWO MONTHS AGO! From 1972 until NOW! Meanwhile, during his first ten years in he made an escape attempt, took the Warden hostage, hurt a guard and spent OVER 30 YEAR'S in solitary confinement! Now he is out at 66 year's of age with no social skills, marketable skills and I am sure three lifetime's worth of trauma and untold stories from going to the PENITENTIARY at 16. Smh. I grew up in the same type of hood environment as many. But by seeing guy's I grew up with in the 80's and 90's go away and come home with their mind's disturbed or manhood interfered with (oh yes, stories get back to the streets in every hood). Anyhow keep doing what you are doing to deter young brothas' from visiting those walls. You will get your blessings from such actions of teaching. And if you get a chance you can Google my cousin's case just to confirm my story. His name is Arthur Johnson (before converting to Islam). He was a Frackville SCI here in Pa. They changed law's for juveniles and solitary confinement due to him. Peace and blessings young brother! God bless!

I've been out for 20 years now and I feel like I really did change for the best. However what your stand is absolutely true. Despite my best intentions I could have definitely been back. When I got out I got a job at a warehouse working for $8 an hour back in 2003. Somebody touch my coffee cup. I’m on bond for malicious wound & wanton. I bonded out in a day, and have been out for a year now. Paid big lawyer. He don’t talk to me much. But we’re apparently waiting on a plea. It was just a bad situation. Everyone is okay. I’m contemplating trial.. but idk how pleas work
One thing people should know about why prosecutors are so successful is that prosecutors have the choice of which cases to take to trial. If you find yourself on trial it's because the state already knows they can convict you, it's all but guaranteed. The only cases that get taken to court even when the prosecutors know they can or will lose are the famous cases. If the public is demanding a prosecution and the political pressure is put on them, prosecutors will go ahead with that trial and lose. Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman are two examples of this.

One of the things that helped me was I really didn't mess around with dudes. And the guys I hang out with we're out chasing girls with me because that was our interest. I was always with a female. My friends weren't interested in being gang members or selling drugs. We went straight to the females. Heart plaza, Legends, Grand quarters, Fairlane taking the bus to Northland. only drama with that are jealous dudes. And it's easy to manage those situations.

In my heart I truly know that I would never come out the same way I went in if I ever had to do hard time. Sometimes I fear never coming out for a choice that I would make inside those walls. I don't even live a crazy life but I know things can change quickly. I just pray God covers me and my children from bad decisions
