As of January 24, 2024, there were 5,309 stocks listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). As of December 31, 2023, there were 2,266 stocks listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), but 76 of those stocks were not available for trading.
BSE(Bombay Stock Exchange) was founded in 1875. On the other hand NSE(National Stock Exchange) was established in 1992 so, BSE is older.
