I can't thank you enough for this video. It took me literally less than 5 minutes to replace the bulb after watching this. Also having the camera facing right into the headlamp rocked. Thanks again!
I just used this video to change the bulb in my 2017 Fit. It couldn't have been easier, and the video made the step by step so clear! It took me about 3 minutes. Thanks for this!!
This is great! Thank you! I also prop up a small mirror just under the hood, which really helps to see what I'm doing. Some tutorials suggest taking off the front wheel to access the bulb from underneath, but you really don't have to go that far.
I appreciate your video. One thing I would add for those, like me, who don't work on cars on a regular basis. The bulbs have three prongs sticking out of the base of the bulb. Thess prongs need to fit into slots in the housing for the headlight. You can feel the back of the housing to find these slots. When the bulb goes into these slots the rest of the installation goes as smoothly as the rest of this video. This explanation goes at the 2:30 time in the video. I have a picture showing this in better detail, but I see no place to upload it in this comment section.
I can confirm that it's pretty much the exact same thing on the 2013 Fit having watched this and then gone out to fix my wife's headlight at 1AM in the rain :P Thanks for the upload!
I have a 2018 Honda Fit Sport and I am an almost 70 year old inept old lady but this video makes me think that I can do this myself instead of PAYING someone to do it for me!!!!!
Thanks so much, it was hard before I saw your video. After seeing your video I did both of my bulbs in less then 5 minutes. We appreciate you, thanks so much for sharing the video and helping others. God bless
Thank You SO MUCH… I haven’t done it “yet” But watching your video gave me the confidence, that I’m going to do it!! I’ll try to remember to repost once of succeed in changing it 😊Thanks Again
Great! Thank you -- this video is so easy to follow. Just took me a few minutes to replace bulb. So glad I found this -- there are other videos saying you have to remove the bumper in order to replace the headlamp. Again, thank you for a wonderful tutorial! :)
Thanks for the tutorial I could replace it easily beacuse of this. Can you plz make a video to show replacement of tiny bulbs in headlights, the ones that gets on before the headlight is on
done....on a 2016 thanks bud - had to install a led conversion kit and the bulb has a fan so I had to discard installing the rubber boot as the bulb needs the fan heatsink to be cool. but the clips did fit it in...
Does the bulb have high beam and normal lights in the same bulb? Or is the high beam another bulb in the light assembly? I hope it's the same as this video made it dead simple thank you ☺️
Hope you found the answer you were looking for all this time, but it was until 2018 I think when they changed the headlights completely. The newer ones have each specific bulbs for low and high beam. @@pearlybakerbest
Helped me out a lot, thank you very much for the video!!! Took me a bit longer because of my gorilla hands lolol but wasn’t too difficult, thank you again bud!!!
OK, I removed the rubber grommet and put it on top of the battery, as shown in the video, Then I removed the light bulb. Then when I went to put the new light bulb back in, I bumped into the rubber grommet, and it fell down. I looked all over on the ground and I don't see it. I suppose it must be resting on top of one of the pieces of plastic shrouding that covers the bottom of the car but I can't see it, and I'm not sure which piece of shrouding. I went to my local Honda dealer and they told me it would be cheaper to just buy a new rubber grommet and they sold me a new rubber grommet for about $16 and told me not to worry about the old one that it won't hurt anything but I can't help worried that perhaps it might do damage down there. I can't imagine how it might do damage, but who knows. I hate it when things wind up someplace where they don't belong. While driving, I haven't heard any noises from it rattling around. I guess rubber is pretty quiet. However every time I drive the car, that is all I can think about: where is the grommet, and what kind of trouble is it getting into. I try to get it off my mind but it keeps on coming back. It is making driving very unpleasant, so unpleasant, that I am thinking about selling my 2015 and buying a 2018 model. But now I wondering if I should tell prospective buyers about the lost grommet, or just shut up about it. I would feel guilty if I didn't say anything, and sometime down the road it caused some serious trouble for the new owner.
+Theodore Zuckerman no worries. It most likely fell on the bottom cover and vibrated out somewhere. If it makes you feel better than just tell your potential buyer that the rubber piece fell somewhere there. That is not a deal breaker. Chill. Possibility of something going wrong is like winning a lottery.
I thought you would realize that I was just kidding,. I didn't actually lose the rubber grommet last time I changed the bulb. But when I saw you put yours on top of the battery, I remembered all things in the past that I put in the engine compartment somewhere, which fell down and got lost, or were a lot of trouble to retrieve, and how I learned from those experiences not to put things on the top of the battery. So I was trying to dramatize to your viewers the idea that you shouldn't place the grommet on top of the battery, or anywhere in the engine compartment where you might bump into it and cause it to fall. I would suggest to everyone that they get a little box, keep it outside the engine compartment, and put the parts in there. Any kind of box. For small fasteners I would suggest a little plastic box with dividers. You find these in places that sell fishing tackle.

One of my lights went out today and I was able to replace it from your video. Thanks a lot.
This was helpful. It took me 5 minutes longer than you, but I got it right. Thanks.
Well done! Thanks for saving me money! This is the easiest bulb replacement procedure for any car I’ve ever owned (49 years owning a car!)

really good and clear video. Is there any way you can show how to fit LED bulb in place of Halogen bulb ? for Honda jazz
WHEN HANDLING BULBS ALWAYS USE GLOVES, THE OIL OF YOUR HANDS CAN MAKE IT BURN OUT
Thank you, I really wish he had made a disclaimer about this. I fucked up my bulb because I didn’t know that was a thing :/
Thanks for this tidbit of info!
Are the low beam and high beam the same bulb? My 2013 has the running lights and high beams not working but the low beams work fine.
Yes the high and low beams function from the same bulb.

It's all in one bulb

Do You have any vídeo about the fog lights of the Fit?
hi . i replace the bulb but could not put back clip
Thank you for posting this it really helps!
Thanks, gonna replace mines with LED lights. Idk why Honda insisted on halogen lights on 3rd gen fits
Seriously. They look entirely out of place on such a modernized looking car
Thank you for the help!
Lightbulb is xtravision 9003, H4 compatible. Sylvania brand. Just asked at AutoZone and just purchased for anyone asking.🤌🏽
This worked! Thank you!

Can I ask what sort of bulb is it? I see on the the net H11, H4 etc I'm confused :(
I think that is H4,
Thanku it's really clear explanation compare to others
Great! Thanks for sharing.
is it LED?
Thank you for the tutorial.
I was able to easily change the bulb, but be careful . If you force the bulb into the plug, the prongs will bend and you'll have to get another bulb.
Thank you. Very helpful !
Thank you!! I shall do this tomorrow! 😁
