Doing prithur karma in two ways. One as per sastras using vedic mantras. This is called Sirartham. Agni sirartham for Brahmins Hiranya sirartham for others. There are restrictions on using vegetables in sirartham. Since we have to do this withe at most care and Srithaya this is called sirartham Second is Lowgiga sirartham otherwise called Sumangali Prarthanai. This is also copulsorily done by every Hindu as per traditional method. There is no strict restrictions for traditional way of doing pithur karma like Sumangali Prarthanai. If u don't know the way to do Sumangali Prarthanai do as told in the vedio. Since it's logigam you can start with a particular way and continue ever. 4 sumangalies + one Kanya stri 6 + 1 8+1 etc etc according to your financial status. Since it's logical I differ with respectful Mami of the vedio You can follow desantra culture. This applies to saree only. The saree if it is 9 yards should be used as 9 yards till its life Should not be converted as 6 or 7 yards normally by mistake unknowingly in practice with some sumangalies nowadays. 9 yards sarees generally popular in Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Southern and Eastern part of Andra. In telengana rare to see women in madisar. Then what to do. Here comes shetra logigam. Nothing in wrong in giving 6 or 7 yards saree with blouse. Next is pavadai for kanya girls. Here also we can offer with unstiched chudidar materials. But For Kalam normally called Kalathu Pudavai should be 9 yards. This saree should be soaked in water previous day of Sumangali prarthana and should allow to dry completely. Since the saree is smoked in water and dried it can be used directly with kosavam for alankaram. It's good to ask sumangalies to take bath at our house by giving Mangala Snana materials vise Gingily oil, seeyakkai powder or paste and kasyhoori manjal. Madi sarees can be brought by the ladies in jute bags. The kalathu saree prasadam inclusive of saree must be used by Kartha Women who performs pooja. Or may be given to husband's brothers wives only. Dhayadhigalin wives. This is the important prasadam blessed by late sumangalies of our families Regarding meals you can prepare like Samsradhanai meals.
