What is the difference with the first generation?
I came to this video to figure out how to use a nespresso pod... I guess the difference is that this one has the needle to pierce the capsule - First generation doesn't.

Hi Rama, the filter here the machine has a metal water chamber filter and a silicon filter for the portafilter, both of them are durable and environment friendly. Only if you don't lose them, they are supposed to be used forever and all our products enjoy one-year international warranty on the official sales channel.

What's the recommended coffee-water ratio?
Hi Qayyum, glad to have your message. Basic model usually could brew 60+ ml coffee. We would recommend fill 50-80ml water (there’s water level marking on the water chamber) and brew 30ml condensed espresso.
I use staresso sp200.. good espresso.. but for the filter.. can i change with paper filter?
Hi there, it's not available to use a paper filter here, since the paper filter might not support the high pressure and broke. For replacement parts purchase could kindly contact with support@staresso.com

Hi Christie, our Basic and Mini models support coffee grounds & coffee pods. (Details on 0:21s-0:25s video)
Coffee capsule compatible brand: Nespresso, Nespressp, Lor, Peets, Lavazz, Kimbo. Coffee pod 5-6g.
Since the machine has a filter basket to hold the aluminum/plastics pods & grounds, we would not recommend a metal capsule here.
So you can use any coffee grounds?

Is it okay to use small amount of water? For example 13g of coffee for 26ml of water

There would be water mark on the water chamber, we would recommend filling 50-80ml water to make espresso. Besides the glass provided marks 30ml, 60ml, etc. Brewing 30ml would get the concentrated espresso.❤️

bad experience wastw my money 1st time all good nice creamy espresso after all espresso can't put out 5 time already and then filter out plastic is broken already
