Your locs are absolutely beautiful. I watched your journey from the beginning and now I have sisterlocs. My locs are now a year and loving them. Believe it you are an inspiration. ❤
Love your Sisterlocs, July of this year make 5 years of having my Sisterlocs . The length of my Sisterlocs is exactly like yours . The only regret I have is not getting my Sisterlocs earlier . I’m constantly getting compliments wherever I go . You’re doing a great job on your Sisterlocs journey.
Your hair is beautiful! I’m right there with you on the relaxed/ natural transition journey. I didn’t enjoy getting up everyday knowing I would have to detangle and do my hair. I would end up in braids most of the time bc I loved the freedom. I went from SL to micro locs (444 to 212) and self maintain. Best decision hands down.
Girl I been in love with your locs .. my sister loc bday is Nov 7. 2023 … and your hair reminds me of mine as for the density etc and I can’t wait to see how mine have formed ..I have 413 and thought I’d have more being that I have thick thick hair and the size I wanted all over: my sizes fluctuate but so far so good
I didn't realize that "Let's Journey" was somewhat responsible for you starting your SL journey 😊. Congratulations on your 6 year milestone. I will hit 4 years later this month, and while there have been some issues, I still think that this will be a forever journey. Lately, for some reason, I've been losing the tips of some locs. I guess it's not too surprising since this is the oldest hair, and I did lighten my hair right before my install. I will never go back to loose natura thoughl, and you're so right. Those were not fun days. All that work, all those products only to step outside and have humidity turn my hair into a fuzzy mass of mess. Anyway, your 21:31 hair is gorgeous as usual, and you keep me inspired as I envision what my hair might look like further down the road.
I have been following you since the beginning. We loc'd the same year and I actually just trimmed mine because of it being uneven, mainly because it look so weird straight, when It's curly it's perfect, plus this hair is HOTTTTTT. I absolutely love following your journey. Happy Loc'versary sis, cheers to year 6
Hey Robin! The conditioner from the aphogee line is very very very moisturizing. I used to use it in the beginning when my scalp was in fire 🔥 and dry.
Hey girl! You’re responsible for sending me over to Sisterloc land. I’m 5 years in and have a dry scalp too. I’m currently using Design Essentials line for moisture and it’s really help.
U r too funny, I just love u. I experienced the heavy ponytail. Try puttin one ponytail in the center where it’s comfortable and put the rest over that one. Beautiful u and ur hair.
I think the dry sclap is caused by our sclap being exposed to the air more than it was with loose hair. I had to formulate a concoction: 2 dropper full of Mielle rosemary and mint oil, Camille Rose aloe vera and mint braid & sclap spray with spring water. Mixed inside a 360 spray bottle. It is so soothing and actually keeps the dry sclap under control. I spray my sclap every 2-3 days.
I love your locs. You are one of my “Loc Crushes” 😍 I’m 2yrs loc’d and my hair is shoulder length and my goal for my 3yr anniversary is for my hair to be bra strap length. Thanks for the update!❤
You and me started our locs the same year except I started my locs in September 2017😁 Almost my 6 year lociversary and I'm so excited!!!! my goal length is past butt length like Natslocs. if you have seen her on instagram and UA-cam then you know what I mean.
Congratulations on 6 yrs...sis.. my goal is waist length.. im using carols daughter wash day shampoo. I do dye my hair jet black. (Creme of natural) I have never retired my own hair. I need a real good stylist
You were one of the first sisterlocks youtubers I followed when I was going down the rabbit hole. Like your feelings of let’s journey’s lock I had the same for yours. I binge watch all your videos lol and decided I was getting locks my babies are a year this month. Your set of locks are so beautiful and thick and girl everything. Love your content.
I love it 🤩! Congratulations and thanks for sharing year 6 of your beautiful Sisterlocks journey 🥳! I'm right behind you and will be at year 5 this November ♥. Yes, Sisterlocks were my best hair decision EVER too 🥰! Yes, having Sisterlocks freed up my time as well, especially after about a decade of being a loose natural. I'm Sisterlocked and lovin' it 🥳!
Sometimes I would catch myself regretting not loc’ing sooner ESPECIALLY because I heat damaged my hair about 3 months before doing so (not appreciating the kinks and curls I have) but I think if I would’ve loc’d any sooner, I wouldn’t have stuck with the journey. I was still searching and wondering “well what if I shave it all off again? What if I stay straight natural? What if I texturize/perm? What if I just do braids all the time?” And etc. I LOVE my loose hair, it’s just not conducive with my lifestyle and my energy levels. 😢 Anyway, I got all of that out of my system and then decided loc’ing was the best way to go and I’m 1 year and 5 months in. I just want length already but I am trying to remain patient lol your length now is probably the longest I’d let it get. I don’t want it to get too heavy or too annoying. Thanks for sharing! You’re definitely inspiring.
Omg ok ok thank you for showing your thin babies. I've been wondering if i needed to combine or cut mine but its weird because i love the way my hairline looks so if i put them together ill have those weird loc parts. And i do have the fat ends from starting with long hair and wondered how they will do in the yrs to come im 3 yrs in. And my husband's scalp is dry dry too he has brother locs. No lies were told in this video you validated some real concerns.
Wow, your hair is gorgeous. I just made two years in April. Have you considered using Overtone to color your hair? I bet they'd send you a sample since your locs are so impressive.
I have to use Nizoral shampoo as well, or my scalp will go crazy. I notice when my scalp flares up it's usually because I've eaten something that I shouldn't eat, like too much sugar, candy etc...
Beautiful loc journey! You were on the ladies that inspired to get sisterlocks in uk. Im proudly 2years in and lo ing it!🎉 Best hair decision ever ❤. I like the song you played during the loc porn section of the video, is it possible for share thename and singer?
Yes ma'am!! Been following you since the beginning. 3.5 yrs gang banging. By the by, is you over there gettin snatched?! I stopped using clarifying shampoo since I don't use products & it was causing more dryness. & started taking seamoss & vit D. 🦋🦋🦋
Hey gorgeous lady with da gorgeous hair. Did you say you have no product on your scalp. Sis, dry scalp requires moisture. Have you tried oiling your scalp. I've had my sisterloc's for 7yrrs and have been oiling my scalp since 6mth loc'd. Recently using my aloe vera Juice on my scalp, Started steam treatments for additional scalp moisturisation.. Enjoy your vlogs, you so funny❤👑

You were one of my first and favorite loc inspirations 💕
I’ve since combined my babies a little, but I’m four years strong 💪🏽

I feel you on the natural layers/different textures thing, I’m four year in and want to go back to a bob. I’ll hold on though.
