You can see from her face and her hair, australians are not obsessed with our looks. She earned her wrinkles and wore them with pride, and there is nothing wrong with a natural hair colour as you age. I could not tell she had a lung problem nearly all her life. She was a tiny person, with such a big voice, and carried herself with a lot of grace. Rip.
I hopped on a tram in Melbourne around 45 years and there she was. I so much wanted to go over to Judith and do the fan thing, but I could tell she didn't want me making a fuss when she looked into my yes. That was enough I've never forgotten that day.
Don't be sorry about showing your emotions. You are a very dear lady finding our beloved Seekers. Thankyou so much for reaching in such a positive way.
Judith was - and will remain - A National Treasure. The Seekers were one of the first Australian bands to make it on the world stage. They were unique. Please look at their early releases - A beautiful lady no matter her age.
My heart is broken for Judith has passed us by. What a magnificent voice. I have seen her sing for 50 years, and she has never needed any effort to sing. Thank you Onyin for your praise, your tears and your love. The Seekers gave us a lifetime of love.
Oh darling, you don't know how every Aussie was broken and devastated at the loss of Judith. She's sitting on a stool in this video due to illness. But her voice never changed. Angelic. This song makes everyone of us Aussies v emotional. So brilliant, written by Bruce Woodley, who is the male lead singer. He's genius.
Judith came to the concert from hospital and went back after the show. How she managed to recover so magnificently after having a stroke is so inspirational.
This song always makes me cry it talks about my family history from convicts to farmers. We r really a mixed bunch us Australians. Always proud t b 🇦🇺 Thanks for appreciating good music
The Seekers were another great Australian folk pop band from the 60's. Judith Durham had such a beautiful voice. She just passed away recently. They had so many great hits including "I'll Never Find Another You", "Georgy Girl", "The Carnival Is Over", "A World Of Our Own", "Morningtown Ride", "Someday, One Day" etc. They have beautiful voices & harmonies. They don't make nostalgic music like this anymore. Reminds me of a simpler time.
Judith developed a chronic lung disease as a result of measles when she was four years old. She died on 6 August 2022 at 79. Olivia Newton John died a few days later, followed by Archie Roach, one of our indigenous singers who was stolen generation.
Thank you so much for respecting and reacting to our beautiful Judith. She was my childhood idol and I was utterly heartbroken when I heard she had passed away 😔💔
Get the MESSAGE Australia!!! Judiths gift had allowed her to leave us some great wisdom! Words to ACTUALLY realise! AND these guys are worthy of tappin the angelic chords and soul to carry it
You are such a nice person you really are..We loved Judith, and she will be greatly missed..As an Aussie, this song means the world to us its spot on all the words of this song..Thank you for caring..
Judith was such a beautiful woman, inside and out. I really appreciate your honest reaction - this song means so much to so many people. Thank you for listening ❤
Beautiful reaction Onyin, it's such a wonderful thing to see people from other countries relating so emotionally to each other. We Aussies grew up with The Seekers in the 60's. As you've heard they are vocal harmony perfection & their unique sound is so warm & gorgeous. Their music speaks directly to our heart & soul. And Judith was the rare jewel, a beautiful lady who carried herself with dignity, a magnificent singer & a wonderful human being, we will always miss her. Best wishes
Makes me happy to hear people like you recognise such talent and show the emotion that you do, because the seekers have been a pivotal part of my life since I was a child, and I wept and wept when I heard the news about her death. What a loss. but her and the seekers left a fantastic legacy for us all in the music that they wrote and played.
All Australian people emotions run everytime we hear this song, this should be our national anthem it brings a tear to most Australians eyes 👀 R. I. P Judith Durham her angelic voice will remain in our hearts forever, great reaction video many thanks for sharing 👌
We are one. But we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come! That’s Australia, you’ve got to love it! That first instrument you hear, the sort of growling noise, is the didgeridoo, an instrument made and played by Aboriginal’s. It’s incredibly hard to play, you’ve got to kind of circular breathe.
" I came from the Dreamtime" is a story to be told and worth your time to look it up. RIP Judith. The thousands of soldiers from fifty some years ago still love you.
Ive just come across you accidentally and can I just say you are a gorgeous soul. I hope you're anAustralian because if youre not you'd be a fine example of a true Aussie. Big heart
beatutiful reaction. yes judith was a lovely lady and loved what she was doing the seekers always has a space in my heart. and if you arent emotional listening to this song and are austraian then theres something wrong with you.I think it is great that people are discovering this tye of australian music, it is a timeless song and music that they have produced over the years. It is awesome that even people who arent australian feel proud about this song and the words are genuine and sung beatifully by all the band. take care everyone be good to one another
I think I speak for most of my fellow Aussie Brothers and Sisters in saying that this song SHOULD be our National Anthem. It speaks from the heart and encapsulates what being Australian is all about. Much love everyone. Your all worth something. ❤
If you like Australian music react to I still call Australia home written and performed by Peter Allen. Qantas our national airline has used it many times in their advertising. Also please have a look at John Farnham, and Jimmy Barnes. Two of so many Australian singers.
It was their farewell performance and dear Judith had recently recovered from a stroke. She did sit for most of this but to hear her beautiful voice ring out across the concert hall still gave me chills. At the end the other members helped her to walk to the edge of the stage to receive the applause. She has since passed away but remains one of our Aussie sweethearts.
Awww you are very sweet. I'm Australian and this song always gives me a warm feeling as it tells our history. I'd rather this be our national anthem. I get emotional too ❤
Everytime I watch Judith I also tear up... I simply love her and miss her dearly. What an Australian jewel. And the boys also. May the Seekers music be with us forever.
thankyou very much for your reactions to this wonderful group, it was heart breaking to lose Judith, so many memories , I anm 64 and have listened to them all my life'
Thank you so much for that. She truly was a beautiful soul. She was seated here as she was recovering from a brain hemorrhage a few months before. She was a bushy and a battler for certain.
I feel so sad for those who are not "Australian." We have worked worked hard, every single on of us, BUT we are only an example to follow, from pain, suffering and determination, good times can come.
What we are experiencing here is a “God moment”, God is One. So when we are One, we experience His Heart and Love. The refrain is really about humanity way beyond Australia.
This is the first time I’m watching your channel. I found you because I was missing her so much, thank you for your genuine reaction and response, I cried right along with you! You literally sum up exactly how I feel about Judith and the emotions I was feeling.
It's as simple as living among us, learning our language, food, stories, songs. Anyone can become Australian, but they have to have the goal in mind. You can live in Australia as a foreigner with similar respect, but never equal.
Thank you for your heartfelt reaction. Having grown up in Australia they are such a big part of our lives. We have been so blessed to have had the Seekers as part of our story.
I have recently seen a few reaction posts to this song. You had me engaged and in tears as soon as I could see your eyes welling up. Judith was amazing and will live on in all of us. The first few lines of the song I feel do need some clarity. Instead of being the first Australian at 40,000 years, it is much longer "Aboriginal Australians are the oldest known civilization on Earth, with ancestries stretching back roughly 75,000 years."
I do not know if you've reacted to the latest QANTAS ad but I hope you do. The song is very special to Australians and it brings me to tears every tome.
Many years ago the seekers disbanded when Judith was involved in a head on car collision, badly injured took years to get back to health, strong willed Judith was. sadly passed away two years ago . The final tour was great saying goodbye to the world, may the sing forever.❤
Greetings from America 🇺🇸 You have nothing to be sorry for : this song is so beautiful it makes me proud to be Australian - even though I'm American - Judith Durham was a rare and special song bird , and you have a beautiful and sensitive Soul ❤
We lost something so beautiful when we lost Judith. I am an American, not Australian in the least, but if you are a member of the human race, trust me, we all lost something beautiful with the passing of this wonderful and talented lady. R.I.P. Judith.
You do not need to say sorry for crying at all 💕 I’m Australian, and I cry every time I hear this song, too. I think it should be our national anthem 😊

Too right love her wrinkles and all a legend talent is talent

@@DanDownunda8888 you should have just blown her a kiss...
I’m an Aussie and this song always brings me to tears🇦🇺❤️

I dont think there is another singer I love as much as Judith and her passing was like losing a close family member. RIP
Well said my friend 🫶
Thank you for your emotion. I'm not Australian, but feel so proud for them.
RIP dear Judith. This is a very emotional song for us. And that's okay, we're all crying.

From this Texas cowboy bessos ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This performance was after Judith had suffered a stroke and had to learn to speak again.
It breaks my heart when I hear this song and remember she passed away. I still think this needs to be our national anthem.
Can't control my emotions..
Proud Papua New Guinean with tears🇵🇬
Love Australians and the song

The male lead, Bruce Woodley, co-wrote this song. This is their Farewell performance, and they are trying not to lose it themselves.
The SEEKERS will always be remembered as A National treasure of Australia

The first lyrics were « bound down by British chains « . and « bore the red coat lash. »

They were truly loved!
Such a powerful performance! The Seekers were great. Only recently discovered this song/performance. Great authentic touching reaction!
I feel so sad for those who are not "Australian."
We have worked worked hard, every single on of us, BUT we are only an example to follow, from pain, suffering and determination, good times can come.
Beautiful reaction as it deserves. ☮️
One of the greatest ever singers 😊
I came from Malaysia in 1978 to become a proud Australian🇦🇺❤️ l love this country and have given Australia 2 generations of beautiful Aussies.
What we are experiencing here is a “God moment”, God is One. So when we are One, we experience His Heart and Love. The refrain is really about humanity way beyond Australia.
Your reaction is heartfelt. ❤

You literally sum up exactly how I feel about Judith and the emotions I was feeling.
I have no idea who you are or why you ended up on my feed, but you are one incredibly pure and and amazing human. You've genuinely made me day.
RIP - Judith Durham...one of the best female voices ever.
Another wonderful song by them is Emerald City, sung to a Beethoven tune with visuals from The Wizard of Oz, so enchanting! You’ll love it. ❤️
Everyone can become Austrailian. We love and want all
It's as simple as living among us, learning our language, food, stories, songs. Anyone can become Australian, but they have to have the goal in mind. You can live in Australia as a foreigner with similar respect, but never equal.
They are tears of joy, promise & unity within the human race 😢! Let's make it happen eh!! And this song makes US Aussies so so proud!
I can fully understand the reaction at 2:23, this is where I get goosebumps every time.
Let the tears flow 🇦🇺🫡✊💯
Hold this beautiful memory of her close to your heart🩷

Don't pause, just let it play. Embrace the emotion. We all feel it. Feel the emotion. We undertand it. Feel it with us.
Judith was a national treasure with the voice of an angel
Thank you for this review, I'm a grown man in my 20s and even I get emotional, they were performing before my parents were born.
