Yes definitely one of my favorite guns in the game. I love building it long range . Ive gotten some sick multi-kills with the penetrator rounds. It feels great to use amd has great stopping power.
Razorback for sniping. Regulator with binary for close in wet work. Rattler, Sidestar, or Eon as a backup piece. Solstice, as much as I dislike it, with ignition beams for Terrormorphs. There's your pistol build, "Blackbeard's Brace." Feel free to substitute in the Mag or Va'ruun pistol wherever. Or run one of each for maximum flexibility.
The visual design is really well done. It looks like a futuristic Mateba, but if you sprint with it, that one angle has the same silhouette as a Single Action Army.
your videos on weapons are super helpful, love this kind of statistical analysis of sorts. The gunplay is so sweet in starfield really shows how far they come from FO3
This would be a nice one to get the Instigating perk on. I imagine if you maxed stealth/marksman and ballistics/pistols and modded for max damage with scope/suppressor you could one shot almost anyone.
I just got this pistol tonight, (i was late joining the Rangers) and the Big Iron seems quite capable, not the DPS of the rare magshot, but quite fun to use.
Picked up an Advanced-equivalent Deadeye in my NG+ playthrough and have been using it the whole time. A fully modded Magshot is more powerful, but less fun. And it feels like much less accurate, too.
I hope that they add in the skins with the first DLC. The slot is there for it, but its incredibly limited even though there's several uniquely skinned weapons in the game. I'd love to apply the skin from Deadeye on to other Laredo weapons. I'd also love to put the UC Xenowarfare Camo from the armor on some of the weapons like the Orion and the Combatech series, sorta like Acid Rain Also, I need a Gold Plated skin for the 1911 and the AK, and a full kitted out skin for the Vintorez.
I exploit the weapon crate glitch all the time to try and get the perfect weapon/perk combo, so I do have...countless legendary weapons, but just last night got my favorite Legendary Advanced Razorback..at least I think. Shattering + Extended Mags + Corrosive. With the Binary Trigger, the 6 extra rounds feel so good to use. First time getting extended mags on the Razorback. I have so many other legendary combos with Elemental being the most common. I think the ideal situation would be something like Shattering/Concussive + Extended Mags + Rapid. That's my next goal.

I picked up an Extended Mag Calibrated one fairly early on. Made the Freestar quests real fun.

I got one of these with depleted uranium rounds and disassembled property in the Mantis base. It was nice for the bots at the end.

I have a modified Advanced that I renamed Huckleberry, but I still haven't found any with rolls, not that it stops my from carrying it.

It is a gun I do want to love more but I end up using rarely mostly due to finding good legendary versions is quite rare, at least from my experience
Love this weapon, put on the binary trigger and its an up close melter.
Yeah it does a lot of DPS.
Definitely isn't the only weapon that uses the 7.5mm whitehot ammo.. I've had a beowolf that uses that.
That one shoots the 7.77mm round. It is a little different.
its also really hard to find the ammo. I can get more ammo for my magshot than any razorback.
