I have a problem with this sermon folks. Saints we have been called to righteousness because the one who we submit to in us is righteous. The mark of a Christian is not one of falling down and getting and nor are we sinner and fallible behind our choir gowns. No the Bible says Jesus came to take away our sins 1John 3:5 NOT MANAGE THEM. So the question is does the Bible mean He came to take away our sins figuratively, METAPHORICALLY or literally. I've got better news than always standing in the forgiveness line and that is we have already been forgiven and now it's time to walk in the authority and righteousness He,(God), has called us to. It doesn't take one to ARRIVE at perfection to take and walk in authority above sin, all it takes is one WILLING to STRIVE in and to perfection that is perfect unconditional love. Beloved ones as a man thinketh in his heart so is he Proverbs 23:7 and if I think I am a wretch. a sinner. and weak against sin I will never see myself as walking in the authority Jesus gave me over it but always justifying my sin because I see myself as a sinner. Jesus said He is coming back not make His Church glorious but He is coming back for a Church already glorious, without spot or wrinkle upon His arrival. We are that Church beloved ones not a building without spot or wrinkle, you and me. When His Church becomes glorious w/o spot or wrinkle has so much to do with when He returns because He's not coming back until His Church is glorious w/o spot or wrinkle but how do we get there THINKING OF OURSELVES AS UNWORTHY, WRETCHED, SO FALLIBLE, WEAK SINNERS WHO'S LIVES ARE MARKED WITH FALLING DOWN AND GETTING UP AND ALWAYS RUNNING TO JESUS TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. I YELL THIS: "THERE ARE NO MORE SACRIFICES FOR SIN" Hebrews 10:26, Jesus took care of the final sacrifice, let's stop putting back on the cross as an open shame through justification of sin by drawing back and sinning willfully BUT WE ARE NOT AS THOSE THAT KEEP DRAWING BACK BUT ONLY AS THOSE THAT BELIEVE TO THE SAVING OF THE SOUL. HEBREWS 10:26, Hebrews 6:6, Hebrews 10:39...SELAH! LOVE ALL OF YOU!
