Damn! I've been using my GT100 as a preamp into a boogie power amp and speaker, now I can finally just use the GT100 with the cab sim off and use this... this little pedal will help soooo much! Love it. I use heavy tones and this sold me. Thank you!
No, I’ve recorded a DI into the DAW and then used the pedal like an outboard. For Electric guitar I used the Neural DSP Fortin NTS plugin bypassing the cab. For AC guitar only the DI of the piezo
Great video!! This device will attach to the line out from my load box (after my tube amp), and I want the cab sims to be heard in my looper pedal (which connects to an audio interface and studio monitors). Should I connect the Impulse between the load box and in front of the looper pedal, or between the looper pedal and audio interface, or doesn't it matter as long as it's in the chain before the audio interface?
I think is better that the looper pedal will listen the final sound, so with IRs like a cabinet, in this way you have to place the IR after the loadbox, as a normal cabinet, so the signal chanin will be the same as a real amp and then a cabinet.

No the right way is to place after the amplifier (modeler amp) or after the line output of an amplifier, It's a cabinet basically, including impulse responses as cabinet to record directly
Because usually after the cabinet simulation you will place modulation effects and go to an audio interface to record. It is not intended to use with headphones and stopping the routing
I’m so sorry, I would never want to bump your sensitive ears to a few micro-cents of a tone, next time I will make sure that the instrument is tuned as God commands for your lordship, excuse me if I have offended you with my negligence

I just bought one a few days ago and I love it.
This sold it to me, great review mate! Subscribed
I’m impressed with the quality of the sound. Did you used some pre-amp before the TC Eletronic IR?

Please show how your running this pedal. I’ve watched many videos and they all never go through the process. Cheers.
After an amp. It’s your cabinet, place it where a cabinet should stay

@@MadSteex That makes sense. I appreciate the response. I think I will really like this pedal. :-)
What were you using for the preamp during the demo? Can it drive headphones?

Would this pedal sit between the guitar and the DI in the signal chain?

Do you need an amp simulator when you record?
Of course you need an amp, real or simulator cause this is to be intended only your cabinet
@@MadSteex Thanks it is cool that this pedal also has amp sims.
Can you use it with bass?
Yes you can. However there is only 1 IR for bass stock by TC, you have to load your own or 3rd party IRs
Can the output jack drive headphones?
it's a line output level, so could be, I do not have tried
Yes I’m surprised nobody tells clearly if it can be used with headphones, while it’s the first feature I would expect this pedal to have!

@@MadSteex well both the Iridium and Waltus pedals have an headphone out, the idea being realistic, amp-like tone for silent practice
Cool product but for the love of god, please tune that guitar.

@@MadSteex Seems like the sensitivity is in your department. OK your're perfect. Good luck with the music.
