I am a Beetles Polish fanatic. I absolutely love them and I have over 70 colors. The reason it was streaking for you was that you were putting it on too thick. You need to take more polish off the brush and do a thinner layer. Also, sometimes the colors don't match the swatches on the top because they have to cure under the light. So you will find that when it is in liquid form it might look dark or lighter than when it is cured. However the polishes are fantastic quality and I expedite the removal process by taking a nail drill to the top coats and then wrapping in acetone.
For the shower steamers: I love the peppermint variety when i have a cold and I keep it in a bamboo soap dish so it doesn’t get gross on my tiles (way easier to clean off the soap dish in my sink)
Neon Nails -> I’m pretty sure someone mentioned that already but try this: base coat -> white -> neon shade and top coat. Looks better and lasts longer
I use those gel nail polishs and they definitely have a technique to them to make them not lumpy. I find doing VERY thin coats at 60 second cures is the best for a smooth nail~
@@michellecogdill6128 I know I'm super late to this party but for some people, myself included, regular nail polish will not stay on my nails for more than a day, even when I have them done at a salon. Gel polish will last me 2 weeks easy doing it myself, longer from the salon. As with regular polish, there is a bit of practice needed to get it perfect, no one puts on any kind of polish perfectly the first time.
I agree, they work great once you get the hang of it. I use beetles too and if your coat is too thick, the light can’t fully cure the layer so you end up with it being bumpy
with gel polish, i find it helpful to take it slow and use thin coats and you can go over how many times you like until the streaks are gone. if you have a lump on the first coat that gets cured, every layer after that will have a lump. sometimes i'll use a builder gel to smooth out any lumps/bumps on my natural nail to make the painting process easier. altho it does seem like there are colors and brands that have better self leveling formulas? there are also peel off gel base coats for if you are just swatching/testing out colors/like to repaint nails often so you can easily take them off without soaking :) i love how there's no drying time with gel and haven't really touched my regular polishes in over a year!

Also it works best for me when coming up from under rather than over the shoulder. There is a leverage that is achieved and also more control. Quick tip for gel nails, before curing, take a little brush with acetone and clean up the cuticle before curing or else it’s eternally messy ❤️ also they sell gel remover in a bottle that you paint on and it makes it crackle off!
For any neon color always use white polish or gel first then apply your neon color - this will make the color POP. If you have a higher wattage uv lamp the cure time is less. You can use a gel brush to apply the gel polish to make it go on smoother, also letting the tightly sealed gel polish bottle sit in warm water can help with thinning out thick gel polish. Thank you for being you!
@@krysaboyce5353 I think all acetone is paint thinner? @@themagicknightress7132 I do keep them a bit long between 1/4 - 1/2 and inch past my fingertips. When I did the gel on my natural nails they did seem to get longer, but I think that mostly because the gel helps to thicken/strengthen the nail so they didn’t break as much

Beatles polish is what my nail lady uses and my nails can go weeks with no chipping when she does them.
I only get them done every 3 weeks because my nails grow so fast!
I’m so glad you did red, it looks great, and I’m so tired of black and neutral colors on influencers
Can I just say how much I love watching your videos!! I Love love how real you are & your sense of humor kill’s me 😂 thank you!!
Where is your teal crewneck from?!? I absolutely love it!!!
I find it interesting that you get coconut from the sol de janeiro mist. I don’t think coconut is even in the frgrance notes 🧐
Isn't it supposed to be the same fragrance as the bum bum cream?
Could you do a 7 heaven facemask video🥰
I love Blueland, but I really hate the spray bottles. 2/3 bottles broke after just a few months (only 2-3 refills). Refillable is great, but not if I have to order new bottles anyway. Hopefully they find a way to improve them.
Where is the teal sweatshirt and grey hoodie from?? I love love love them!!
I love the eucalyptus shower steamer for those snotty cold winter mornings they clear u right up
That spray is the Bumbum cream scent!!!! Try it ASAP
Get a peel off base!!! It’s so satin and soooo much easier to remove.
