- Celebration was the brainchild of the Walt Disney Company in the early 1990s. It was their experiment in community planning aiming for a perfect little town with a nostalgic American vibe. Think picture-perfect houses, brick walkways and a lakefront setting straight out of a postcard. But don't worry, Disney magic doesn't completely disappear here. There's still plenty to see and do, especially if you're looking for a relaxing, charming escape after a day (or five) at the parks.
On this episode, I’m sharing with you some of my recommendations on what to do in the town that Disney built.

I really want to live there.
As a big fan of WDW, I looked at purchasing a home in Celebration. The HOA covenants were quite strict and I understand strictly enforced. I thought the town center really was quite rundown and badly in need of some TLC. 🤷♂️
An interesting video could be Wewahitchka Florida.Home of the Dead Lakes,Tupelo Honey and the 1997 Golden Globe Award Movie, Ulee's Gold starring Peter Fonda and Jessica Biel in her first movie.

The entire ‘woke aspect’ of Disney is a fallacy that has been overblown by the media and what happened between Desantis and The WD Corporation. If anything the Resorts (their themed hotels), Celebration and Disney Springs feel conservative. No agenda is being pushed down anyone’s throat unless eating, shopping and light exercise is a socio political issue for someone.
