What an amazing gift from your partner’s mother. Those vintage decks with her writing on them are so cool!
I loved seeing your family decks, how special. I love that they are written on, you can feel the love!! I loved getting a peek into your treasured part of your collection. Really sweet!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed watching. When I have time I’m going to sit down and make notes on what she wrote on the cards. So fascinating.
Great grandma’s looks like a French version of La Sibilla Italiana 🥰❤️
I really enjoyed your deck collection and declutter series! Thanks for sharing. 🤩😍
Thank you soo much for showing your collection… I love that you have decks form your grandma….great series… you have inspired me to create a series like this on my channel S well… I am a happy subscriber….i will keep watching and enjoying…😊
A box of gems, really! So many memoriesand stories containing in these cards. Btw., the book of destiny cards look to me to be something like Sibilla cards.
Oh yes, I think I’ve heard that before about the book of destiny cards. Thanks so much!
Oooh the Supernova Tarot looks delightful! Thank you for showing it!
Quick flash watching you flip through Mother in Laws RWS, you could pair it with the other fortune telling deck of hers. Cool pairs 😮
I really love using an older RWS, I use mine daily for a COTD. I started a COTD practice after reading Susan T Chang’s book The Living Tarot. Thank you for sharing your deck collection with us and I love the giggles
I’m really enjoying cartomancy right now. Lenormand and Gypsy Witch to be specific. The history of the cards in the states is fascinating. Rachael Pollack has some great blogs on the history of cartomancy in the US circa late 1800s/early 1900s. I’m also enjoying the method of distance reading of Lenormand. It’s crazy accurate. Dare I say I like it more than tarot. At least right now I do!
I love that she wrote on her cards. How freeing! A good reminder that decks can get messsy.
Really enjoyed this one, Mar.
I’m so glad you liked it! Ooh I’ll try to remember to look up those blogs when I get around to studying cartomancy. That’s so cool.
Love that you finished this awesome series on an anti-declutter! How special that you have decks from your grandmother and MIL 🥹 🩷 I didn't know Janaki had a store--will need to check it out!
Holy bananas! Those precious decks. I tell you what treasure indeed. Loved this video.
Thank you. I’m so glad to hear that.
