    I've had my V2 booster with a clicgear 4 cart converted to a 2 wheel swivel for the front wheel. I've had it about 3 years now, and after 200+ rounds, I can tell you this is one of the most stable e-carts out there. I've seen alot of friends tip their MG1s navigators and motocaddies on steep uneven slopes. The v2 booster never tipped no matter how steep or uneven the ground was. I inadvertently drove it into a bunker and it still didn't tip. (with the 2-wheel swivel on the front)
    Pros: Super stable, easy to use and control, combined with a clicgear 4, was able to store alot of accessories: drink holders, umbrella holder, mini cooler, ranger finder bag, coffee cup holder, netting, etc.
    Very durable. Played in extreme heat and cold here in Canada.
    Played in rain quite often and a couple of times in light snow. Always worked perfectly and had no issues with the battery draining.
    There are multiple speeds to match your walking pace.
    Cons: Big and clunky to put in a trunk of a sedan, but it will fit.
    Can be a pain and takes more time, to assemble the cart, and then take it apart before and after a round.
    Short battery life after a couple years of use. When it was new, battery would last about 27-30 holes (never 36 holes on one charge). After 150+ rounds, it will last only 18 holes so I bought a back up and keep in the golf bag. I always carry a back up battery.
    The foam holding the v2 booster to the bracket finally wore out causing the v2 booster to spin and not move the cart. Then the glue holding the wheelie bar brackets, wore off and the wheelie bars have both fallen off. I've temporarily fixed the issue a copule of times, but the bracket holding the v2 will break after a few rounds and will need fixing again. Time to give it up and buy a new cart that would work with a v2 booster.
    Having said that, the v2 booster itself is still going strong, durable in all weather. Hoping to get another 300 rounds out of it.

    I’ve had the V2 for 3 years. Best money that I have spent on golf. The trolley issue is a non issue. The unit does everything that a golfer needs from a motorized golf cart. I had a Clicgear golf cart, unit worked great. I replaced it with a Rovic golf cart this year. Love my setup

    New version just came out for preorder, all in one and folds up nicely. Called “cyber cart”
    I have the v2 and love it, ordered the new one instantly!

      Love to hear that, shows how happy you were with the V2.
      I'm hopefully going to get a chance to review the Cyber Cart soon 👍

    I bought one and it changed how I play golf. It's worth every penny and doesn't matter about the name brand. You don't need any extra features. It's worth just buying the bundle. Price in converting comes out to about the same.

    Love my V2. The biggest thing is the wide base. I'm really not sure why other companies don't do this as well. It makes it 10x more stable with the wide base. I guess the other companies are valuing storage convenience, but IMO just not worth the tradeoff at all. If you have a small trunk/boot, you can always orient the motor at a different angle to make it fit like a puzzle piece.
    Other thing to mention is that other brands have tiny front wheels. With Alphard you can get a trolly with a nice big front wheel (or two big front wheels like my friend has) so you can still drive over things like curbs.

    Was going to buy one but it seems that if you’re in the uk u have to pay duty/import tax as they don’t seem to have a uk distributor

      Oh really, I wasn’t aware of that, given there’s the dedicated Uk website?

    It’s a good review as always, I had the V1 Alphard with a Rovic RV1C, and I would not recommend that combo.
    The V2 and with a swivel wheel trolley looks better, I recall all the attention mine got! Until I had enough after half a dozen rounds and moved it on!

      Thanks Drew :) Yes I wouldn't be keen on using without a swivel front wheel.

    Isn't the entry level Motocaddy cheaper? 🤔

    • @GolfGuyReviews
      @GolfGuyReviews  3 місяці тому

      Motocaddy’s cheapest remote control trolley is £1249 rrp 👍 their cheapest lithium battery trolley is the new SE at £499…but that’s not remote controlled, no wheels to stop it tipping back, no down hill control and missing a few other bits too

    • @drewl4921
      @drewl4921 3 місяці тому

      You can pick up an M7 Remote for £1100 and with £100 off voucher codes now so it’s still more expensive but a better set up in my opinion.
      Entry levels aren’t remote so can’t really compare those with this one
