I tried your recipe yesterday, it was one of the best curry I ever made!! Thanks for sharing. My family enjoyed the preparation. Yummy! 😋 🤤
This looks so good. I have some lamb shanks and I never thought to curry them. This is a great recipe and I will try it. I don't have some of the seasoning such as the Bengali masala but I think it will taste quite good too. Thanks for the recipe.
I am dribbling and wimpering at how good this must taste. Got to try this. Thanks.
Loving your food still Latif. I'm still planning to visit your restaurant when you are open. The shanks look amazing 👍

Latif bhai, I’m a big fan of yours and the only tradition bengali chef I trust on UA-cam! Please can you share a recipe of making a karachi beef biriyani as I want to make it for my child’s birthday next week. Would appreciate it so much
Really enjoyed watching this - I may well try it at home
Latif bro, inshallallah will come down to the restaurant when we are out of lockdown! Im ordering lamb shank, prawn curry, and fish pakoras!! Lol

Great stuff as usual. Loving that you are making more videos on a regular basis. Thanks
I’m trying to. Thank you for acknowledging it. Lockdown is helping
Brother Latif, I've just watched your video coz my wife has asked me to cook lamb shank today...looks like we are in for a treat
10:12 The sight of this curry is phenomenal. I would make lots of it and use it with other meats. Your camera man is doing a great job btw. We never thank Wi enough.
Oh exceptional Latif. I keep watching and thinking I’ve seen the best one, then you do an even better one. The look of the sealing and the texture when finished and plated is exquisite. Love from the White Cliffs 👨🍳
Going to do this at home..looks good...thanks for the great recipes I've tried about 10..all of them came out well..
I thought to mention that not only did you give superb directions that are easy to follow, but the real strength of the video for me was the way you showed the LEVEL OF HEAT at each stage!
That's simply brilliant as fire 🔥 and flames play a critical role in a recipe, and you demonstrated that exceedingly well in this video.
Well done again, and keep up the fantastic work!
Best Wishes of Success Always!
The family love your recipes ,many thanks
Yum Yum Yum. Can’t wait to try this. Didn’t like lamb when I was young. I’m 71 now🤭😳 The only way I could eat it was in a Bhuna Lamb Curry. Then I started to make Lamb Shank Kokinisto (Greek) few yrs ago. This will be next! Might need to 1/4 the recipe as I’m on my own 😂 no visitors till after Covid lockdown. I’ve got lamb shanks in the freezer. (6 😂) Need to google phoron n make it too. I have a big selection of spices so hopefully all the ones I need. Thanks for the inspiration.
what a beautiful shank indeed
This is an amazing dish, I ended doing a fusion with this and another you tuber called Not another cooking show. It was an amazing combination and the hints and tips you gave made it taste amazing. Thank you so much

Great recipe. When you say you're checking it every 10 minutes what are you checking for?
Salaam brother,
You certainly have inspired me, my wife thinks I have turned into a good chef LOL
I have a request, If you could do a lesson/presentation for making restaurant style Lamb Chops for starters
Soo nice
Looks amazing, what brand of ghee do you recommend?
Amazing flavour Latif, rocking the shanks in Portugal 👍
Thanks bro, I’m going to try this next week. ❤️
Yes, a meat lovers' delight! A treat indeed. Not too heavy on the spices. I'd be a mess if confronted with the dish. Thanks.

Sitting here having a fresh ginger tea and feeling peckish!!!
Lol. Need to cook a big fat meal.
Looks delicious 😋
Hi, great recipe thank you . Just wondered if you have done a marrinate for the lamb shanks
Hi I made this recipe but softened it in my PPC for 45 minutes. Fried in oil and then in PPC. And then the steps you did.It took less time than yours but it just as nice. I also noticed when you kept adding water you did not check the flavours which would have been diluted by then? I had it with nan and white rice. Delicious.
Amazing!
Looks AMAZING bro 👌 BANGING
Great recipe 😋
Thank you, Jzkl! It looks good Latiff 👍I will definitely try this! 😊
absolutely stunning, well done, ty💖
Made this yesterday and it was fantastic. Thanks
Looks fantastic, Latif. I used a couple of your recipes for a four course meal I did on Sunday. Went down a storm. 😁
Ahh bless. Thank you
Awesome looking dish. I want to do this but with just 2 shanks, how much should I reduce the spices and other ingredients...by half or just down to 2/3's. Thank you
As always, the lamb shank looks phenomenal! Do you think I can cook it in the oven? Thank you .
Got some organic lamb shanks ready to go!
I'm going to chase down some fresh Nova Scotia lamb, and have a go at this. Thank you for your inspiration. Alison from Nova Scotia xoxoxo
This was soooo tasty 😋 melts in your mouth.
Where’s my sample fatty
Yummy! 😁🤩
Popped to the butchers; four fresh lamb shanks procured. Guess what is on tomorrow’s menu...it will be phenomenal and flavoursome 😃
How much did they set you back, if you don't mind me asking?
@@triplow1 £21...not inexpensive! Normally I buy a shoulder of lamb and bone/trim that as a lot better value. Shanks uses to be really inexpensive before they became trendy, much like beef ribs (not rib of beef)
Your in for a treat.
@@mrguillemot Cheers, mate. I'm gonna try this one. 😊
Try Aldi freezer section
Could I you this delicious dish in a slow cooker ?
as soon as lockdown is over ill be heading to your restaurant for the lamb shanks from sunny california,by the way where are you located.
I will defo do this, but I will probably do up to the point of putting the shanks into the sauce on the stove. Then transfer to the slow cooker for 4-6 hours. Can't wait to give it a try :-)
That will be best tasting
Hello mate, just asking what’s your favourite pan for making curry
I am watching this while having a chicken biryani that I made, thinking I am the king of the hill. But your lamb shank takes the cake! A pinch of safron and a sprinkle of cashew nuts and it would be a "Shahi", fit for a king. Lol
Yummy
Where is your restraunt Latif would love to visit
