I disagree on Usa-chan being a regression. It feels like the development she got wasn't related to her degree of clinginess, but to learning that being in Rentarou's Family means that she doesn't have to put all that clinging onto one person. The not-going-into-the-stall but doesn't mean that she doesn't still need that presence in the broader restroom.
I'm pretty sure Himeka is still an active idol (or utahime or whatever) - Daily Life 4 (ch165) had Matsuri reflect on the hard work she's putting in, showing her leaving early for work and lessons.
Meru's date gets extra bonus points for the callback all the way to chapter 2's UFO summoning.
Kurumi's date gets a higher rating from me on the basis of actually giving us some picture of her childhood - a lack that I've been noticing more of late. She's girlfriend 7 and we've never seen her home or family.
Going back to this - I think it's important in Yaku's date that she doesn't say she wanted to _spend_ time with Rentarou, she wanted to _make_ time with him. Which is an older way of saying "making out", and meaning that Yaku is very much wanting them to behave like a couple. It's one of the dates most left unresolved out of the two chapters, and I wonder if we're going to get a story where Yaku makes this more clear, or if this is just meant to lean on her, er, old-fashioned nature.

I think one thing we have to always remember is that these girls are all based strongly on tropes, those are the real foundation of how these characters were created.
Basically saying for Shiina specifically, her character development wasn’t/isn’t going to be about her not having a hard time being alone. It’s gonna more so be about knowing when she’s going to far and to have some degree of personal space. So, I think her reaction made sense.
I agree with knocking a few points off for retreading but I feel like your knocking a bit too much off of them. The girlfriends that had them are mostly ones that have been around for a while and so their identities are essentially set in stone. That isn't to say there shouldn't be anything new but given the fact that this is just a small date for each of them I think it's trying to convey the feeling that no matter how many chapters pass, some things will never change between them.
As you can see, the newer girlfriends haven't fully fleshed out their relationships with Rentarou yet and thus these chapters are now establishing how those small relationships will play out for the both of them from ow on.
I agree with Yako's date as it felt a little lackluster but Shiina I believe wasn't a regression. Shiina's chapter focused on accepting her clinginess and how it fit into the family as a whole. It didn't actually deal with the core issue itself, it just pushed it aside in a way that made sense. So her clinginess in the date when she was alone makes complete sense.
Kurumi's date gets extra points from me for the Hakari and Karane figures in the crane game machine. (Authors taking a sledgehammer to what little is left of the 4th wall.)
Himeka isn't an idol, she's a vocalist/songstress like Lisa or Reona.
Eira would've gotten number one if she wore her cherry bottom jeans. But the the girlfriends must watch out for Shizuka. It be the quiet ones that strikes first

i went on a massive discord rant about this chapter and how unbelievably cute it was, it started off super strong with eira being cute and wholesome and more importantly the boop made me smile so much, but my favorite moment absolutely has to be Himeka(kiki) reassuring Rentarou that he himself is amazing and shouldn't doubt his worthiness, also Kusuri getting to love Rentarou in 2 different ways is adorable and is great since rentarou gets to love her in different ways with her different forms,
Also i don't think Usami missing Rentarou is a regression of her development, her development was about her not clinging to an individual and getting to spread her time out with everyone so she doesn't overwhelm them, but Rentarou, as her boyfriend, is the one person she can cling to all she wants and since there was nobody else in the family for her to cling to, she just felt genuinely alone for that short time.
