Facing the trunk was louder for my system
my 12s in my car I've tried backwards and forwards. It was louder backwards than forwards until I moved the box back further in the trunk while subs were still facing forward. It was much louder .
Facing back ways has been louder for me facing foward seems new .i guess if its sealed off its louder facing foward
Facing the trunk is louder unless you seal the drunk off, but facing forward moves more air
Total amount of RMS is 2k from this amp the main reason is power flow and 1 if any high output alt so NOTE THIS AMP WILL GET HOT AND RUNNING EFFICIENCY UNDER 50% The only time everyone facing the subs firing into a car IS FOR SPL RUNS ONLY NOT LOWS. This person is running the subs firing to the truck lid is correctly but the low end bass will not be at its strongest because of permit fix port turning. Not alone there are not sundown X series
I like my trunk to flex I believe his subs the way they are is the classic way. Well at least as far back as 2003ish. My big bro would take me to school in his 93 accord 4 12s very similar feeling so nostalgic great setup man

Subs facing rear in the trunk, sound waves bounce off of trunk lid.

It all depends on the vehicle tuning. There's not a one size fits all for vehicles.

I always like them facing front cause in my opinion when there facing back the I think it’s to much bass and don’t sound that good but that’s just my opinion

$800 dollar taramps 8k vs $2000 salt 12k I hope there is a difference. Love, love the amp but if it is not in a garage needs to hide amp or it will be stolen. No hate at all brother but there are a lot of bad hateful people out there that will steal anything of value. Hitting hard. Love the woofers and lithium. Very nice. 🤛

Facing trunk is louder. If you had a system that was powerful and big enough to fill up the cabin. I ran 1000rms and had subs facing forward and it didn't sound as good as facing back or even facing up. Very nice clean system
Not true I do better subs forward with trunk open on meter. I have another friend who sealed off there trunk and they are louder forward as well.
I’ve had many trunk builds with 12s and yes if subs forward seal it off or push box all the way back as far as it goes. If kinda low power face then rear but if you have big subs and amp facing rear just rattles way to much. Here is the secret and best way is is don’t make box as wide but make it deep all the way as far as you can face subs forward and put a 8” aero port facing shooting sideways in the rear back corner. A slot works too shooting out the rear side as well.

Subs forward deeper box vs wide and port 2 the side. Like the demo you posted with the 2 12 inch nightshades 12s I think he was at 153. What’s this setup doing in number? It’s similiar to guy with the ns 12s.
I have a pretty diesel setup and mine are facing back. Doesn't sound as good the other way. Probably would if I sealed it off. Anyone wants to see, check out my videos!👍 love seeing the beastly daily trunk builds!
