For some reason it's not working for me, i'm on the latest Ver of Elementor 3.12.3, by any chance maybe it's because the classes of the form fields have been changed?
Today the same thing happened to me because Elementor made an update of the plugin and I could solve it by putting two bars upside down in the icon code, for example: To put the envelope icon for the email, instead of putting "\f0e0", I used brute force and did this: "\\f0e0" that is I added those two bars upside down and although in the Elementor editor, in the preview you only see these symbols, on the normal page you will see the icon. I noticed when I hit F12 in the browser to see the CSS code, I realized that mysteriously removed a bar upside down and that's why it was not displayed. I hope you have understood me, best regards.
Hi Uriel, awesome video!!! The only type of fields I had trouble adjusting were 'date' fields and 'select' fields'. I just followed Elementor's Type field that does say 'Date' and 'Select' respectively, but nothing...! Have you replicated icons for these types of fields pls? Thank you again 🙂
stay focus on the topic of the video, first 11 minutes are not relevant and diluted the topic, the title of video says add icons ... in other words the first 11 minutes could be different video. thanks.
Thanks Uriel. This is very useful...cheers

Thanks Uriel! Now that Elementor renders fonts as svg, this doesn't work the same anymore :( do you know how it would be now?

Everything is fine in the elementor editor, but in the page preview you can only see a small stamp, but it is not an icon.
